My cats loved it very much and it protected my carpet from being scratched. (My cat scratch a very specific place). However one of my cats vomited on the pad and i had to wash it, then i have to sprinkle the cat nip all over again. Overall it's a great product and did just what I needed it to.

My cats were starting to get a liking for using the sofa to test their claws, which was not doing it any good so I thought I would try a mat for them.This feels very robust and as soon as I put it down they came over to test it out.The mat does have a none slip backing which may work OK on carpets and it also comes with some extra sticky pads which is great for fixing it in place on tiles and other 'slippy' floor so that you do not go skidding around when you step on it - that is something I had not thought of and it is very much appreciated.You also get a small pack of catnip - to attract them to the mat - but I did not need to use that with my two!

We’ve got him a couple of scratching posts but he still keeps going after our carpet, especially in the bedroom when we are sleeping.This mat provides a great distraction – it seems to be even more satisfying than our carpet, thank goodness!It’s well made and good quality.

I was fed up with my kitten scratching everything in his sight. So when I saw this mat, I thought I'd give it a go, well he loves it, and it comes with a bag of catnip which is a great plus, you spread it over the mat, and my kitten scratches it all all over.
