Tuff Support1 Piece Front Hood Lift 2007 To 2009 Lexus Rx350 USA Built Only

The hood support strut went bad on my 2007 RX350 and I needed a replacement. I went with this one and it was a perfect fit! No need to worry about the hood slamming on my head anymore. Installation is fairly easy just get a small flat head screw driver and pull the metal clips back, slide the socket over the ball and release the clip. It can be a little tricky as the clip will slide up and really needs to stay in the middle of the socket to lock on to the ball. If you are more of a visual person you can look up install videos on Youtube.One side note if you are a Lexus Owner. My old hood strut was actually permanently attached at the bottom socket. I had to use a dremel tool to cut it off the ball. Not a knock against this product at all just a fyi in case you cant find a clip on the bottom end of the hood strut that is currently attached to your vehicle.

Very easy to install in 2008 Lexus RX350. Very well made, strong and works great!

It was very easy to install, but beware, the hood is HEAVY! Be sure to block it open before removing the old support. Once installed, it works better than new. The hood pops right open and stays there. Very pleased with it this product
