Tommy Bahama Fiberglass Beach Umbrella for Sand with Integrated Anchor

Used this for the first time last weekend. It works great. The anchor contraption had me skeptical, but it was solid and made sense once it was in the ground. Aesthetically very pleasing. Very happy with this beach umbrella.

Great Umbrella. The wind protection platform appears a bit odd at first but it does work. Although I'd wish there was more space between the wind platform and the screw anchor so the anchor would be deeper, but no problems so far.

A Birthday gift for someone. We have a similar Tommy Bahama. Great product.

I’ve tried many umbrellas, but this is the best one; it has solid construction—it’s no toy—its diameter is larger than average, and it looks sensational. Finally, an umbrella made for the very purpose it was invented for!

Still a great product only 4 stars because the fabric is now more plastic feeling.

Had this for a year now and it works great if you set it up correctly. I recommend starting by digging a few inches down into the sand, and then screwing in the pole. This puts the base down below grade and makes for a much more secure setup. Doing it this way I’ve never had an issue, even on high wind days.

This item broke in less than a year!!

The corkscrew pole is the newest thing, and is most convenient. This model offers the integrated anchor... four anchor legs that lock into place, connected by a cloth square, that admirably supports the pole from tilting in the wind. Tested on the beach, I can say this umbrella withstood a persistent 10mph wind with no problem.
