I bought this because I'm planning to apply for the Doctorate programme. It's largely user friendly (it's been quite a few years since I did research methods so some of that was a bit unfamiliar) and it was great to see how much Psychology I've been using in my job.

I was a big fan of the first edition of this book, and the second edition is a worthy update. Clearly and engagingly written, it is a great resource for teaching the psychology of education in its practical form.

The book was well thought out and a good introduction into Educational Psychology. The summaries were extremely useful for quick recaps. However, I would like for the book to have included more information about Frameworks that EPs use.
