Bed base
I have a 1990's cream bed base with shiny pattern on. I changed my bedroom colour to grey but didn't want to buy a new bed. Googled fabric dye and found Scratch Dr. Bought small bottle and covered 3 drawers and one side. Ordered the large one and did rest of base and 4th drawer. Also did 2nd coat on 3 drawers. Ordered another large bottle and did remaining parts again, then gave all a 3rd coat, apart from back of base. Well pleased with result. It's not brilliant as shiny parts didn't cover as well and the parts with no solid material behind look a bit patchy. BUT... it's not cream and 90's looking! Will fit with my new colour.Would recommend it

Works well if plenty of time taken to apply.
Really good product if maybe a little overpriced. As per other reviews, make sure to buy plenty as it is very easily soaked in. I used 500ml bottle along with 250ml of the matching thinner plus 100ml of water to make it go just a little further. Take plenty of time to apply and do so sparingly. Use a brush to apply and a sponge to help spread it out. One coat has covered my medium sized single chair; no second coat will be required as the finish is even and has dried true to the colour on the swatches. Will need to wait a couple of days for it to fully cure and to test for colour fastness.

Good fabric dye tho it says non toxic and then tells you not to inhale it
Happy with my curtains, though I bought this because it says non toxic and then read on the bottle that it shouldn’t be inhaled, smells like permanent markers and I had to do the painting with a mask on and all windows open so as not to breathe it in, a bit gutted about that as I could have just done a dye bath but wanted to avoid fumes. The coverage is great and made my caravan curtains red, but when they dried they were a bit pink and didn’t have enough dye to finish them all so bought more. Still didn’t have enough so in honesty it is a pricey way to dye fabric especially given it seems just as toxic as other dyes.

Doesn't work
Brought this dye to re-colour a yellow cushion cover. Used 250ml on 1 average yello cushion cover but after using the whole bottle on 1 cover...it remained yellow just slightly pale yellow but no it did not dye the cushion to the bottle colour whatsoever. I can't believe I wasted my money on this.

No good for dip dying
I bought this to dip dye a pair of curtains. No where near enough, which, yeah I guess is my fault. They were streaky... slimy... and, yeah not good. And at £25 a bottle, a bit expensive. I recon it would be great for painting onto fabric, but not dip dying. Ive just painted a velour cushioned rocking chair with chalk paint diluted with water 1 in four with brilliant results. Cheaper than dye by far.

Good
Washed my rug with it. It gave it an uplift.

Absolutely love this product
I got given a very bright pink dogs pram (which I'm very greatful for but it was hurting my eyes every time I looked at it plus my dogs are boys) any ways this product complete covered it. I love the colours and even the dogs approve of thier new dog pram. Great coverage and was really easy to apply with a paint brush. Highly recommend this I'll be buying more when needed.

Doesnt work
I bought this to dye my bed. It was a light teal & wanted to go dark blue/navy.All it did was make the fabric a dark teal.Rather than wasting it I thought I’d use it for dying a white jumper…. Yeah that didn’t take either. All in all I wouldn’t bother with this brand again
