Walker's Rechargeable Lightweight Shooting Hunting Range Electronic Slim Low Profile Hearing Protection FireMax Earmuffs

I bought these for my wife when running a shotgun range for youth. I was jealous when I had to wear the extreme basic ear protection on that range. She found the Walkers fit very well, just the right amount of snug hold but not crushing on the ears and side of head. She used the default sound mode which allowed for good hearing protection while still allowing to hear youth with their thousand questions - being bothered with equipment issues on an active range is never a good day. This ear protection worked great all day on a single charge. It was hot and humid, and these ears remained comfortable. Definitely recommend.

I had to take a range qualification course, and wanted something a bit better and more comfortable than my 25 year old over the ear batter powered range headphones. They work, but the sound wasn’t great and I needed to hear the specifics of each command so I could respond appropriately. This set fits great, and doesn’t cause a bunch of swear under the muffs. That’s saying something in the AZ Sun, on an outdoor range. Also, I could hear everything being said. And I mean EVERYTHING! I felt like I had superhuman hearing because I could hear people talking a ways down the firing line just as clear as the instructors that were behind me. But snapping my finger, and the firing of the pistols, was blocked out perfectly. It was odd at first, but exactly what I needed. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a great pair of range headphones, with a rechargeable battery.

I love these. I ordered these caus i was searching the best earpro for that price range. I play airsoft so i need an amplification of the sound + i need to know where the sound is coming from. this ear pro has it all. I also have an Baofeng where i connect this firemax thru an AUX with the ppt from the walkie. I can hear everybody clear. Tried listening music. Its decent but no bass. The 4 modes are amazing. i used every mode for specific moments in airsoft. the normal when im chilling, the clear voice when im in a room full of bass music where i could hear my friends talking. the high freq when im in the forrest to hear all the leaves and branches cracking. the Boost when im alone in a building trying to hear the enemy. They are just amazing. I worked the same day on breaking a wall to make a hole. We were using Demolition tools and i used this headhone to protect my ears. one moment on clear voice i could hear anybody, next moment when the machine started. it blocked every noice. The only downside is that its pressing a little to hard on my head. but the cooling gell compensated for that. I used it for 2h straight caus of the gell while working. its not a product for wearing a verry long time. Caus you sweat a lot after a time and you feel free unwearing it. 9.5/10

Reliable rechargeable electronic muffs with clear voice pickup, fast clamping, and very long battery life (advertised 150+ hours). Slim cups and cooling-gel pads sit comfortably and don’t fight a rifle stock; USB-C charging and 3.5 mm input are handy. Sound quality is decent though some units have a faint hiss, and the fit runs large for smaller heads. Protection is mid-level, so add foam plugs for indoor rifle use. Good value around this price if you want rechargeable convenience without Bluetooth.

I'm a basic shooter, not a competitor or hunter, so my needs and expectations aren't overly complex or demanding. I chose the fire max product primarily for the omnidirectional microphones to give me a better idea of where sounds were coming from. That feature seems to work as intended. I don't have any problem knowing where people or objects are around me. And the sound reduction works as well as i'd expected. Build quality and materials are top-notch. The controls seem solid, and the operation is intuitive and straightforward. Some reviews here complain that they are uncomfortable. But I guess that depends on the shape/size of your head and ears and how sensitive you are to things on your head. For me, I found them as or more comfortable than other similar products i've used. I've not noticed any discomfort or fatigue wearing them an hour or so a time. With the reasonable comfort and enhanced spatial awareness, I sometimes ALMOST forget I have them on, and how loud the AR15 is. I also use them for doing loud yard work, like working with a wood chipper or chain saw. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the purchase, and consider it money well-spent. : )

I’m an RSO at a shooting range and it’s very nice having a pair of headphones that I don’t have to change out AAA’s for I love them a lot. They perform well on the job now. Yes sometimes when I have muzzle brakes going off it’s a bit harder, but they cut off the noise pretty well sound quality is good. The fits really good once you break them in you can have conversations clear as day.

Worked great! I got a big head and it fits perfectly. I can clearly hear the instructors and range coordinators even while shooting at indoor ranges.

These are very very nice! They look and feel amazing! The mics picked up the smallest of noises. The gel ear pads are awesome! Rechargeable is a big plus. Unfortunately I didn't get to use them because they are WAY to big for my head. I'm a woman but I always thought I had a big head lol but I guess not. I really never thought about it and I don't wear hats so this hasn't come up before. I had to return and go for the razor compact and there's just no comparison, the firemax are superior in everyway! There's just no way to adjust these to get the headband piece to fit AND have the earmuffs stay flat against your ear. Ladies, please get the behind the head version if you want firemax, I'm guessing those will work. They were $70 more when I looked so I chose to go another route, but firemax is superior!

Whilst the sound protection works very well ( when wearing) the voice amplification isn’t that good acceptable but not great. The main issue is I cannot wear them for more than an hour because the pain is so much. Every opportunity I have to take them off for relief, this is what inspired me to write this review today. I was at the range RO called cease fire everybody looked to be clearing so I took them off. Then bang. I have tried everything to adjust them but they pinch my ears no matter what, I’ve gone back to my old set. That was a lot of money wasted.
