I work on the flight deck as an ABH on an aircraft carrier and we need whistles for certain things. This whistle can be heard over the sound of F/A-18's, V-22's, H-60's and whatever else the NAVY decides to we want to fly on any given day. Very loud whistle.

No student can say they don't hear this whistle! I love the color as well.

I purchased this for emergencies while Stand Up Paddleboarding. Nice beadless whistle that packs a loud punch. I’ve heard louder and seen slimmer whistles but this one does the trick (plus I love the choice of colors). The reason I rated it 4/5 stars is because this whistle doesn’t come with a lanyard of any sort. Everywhere else I’ve seen this brand for sale (online and in-store) it comes with a lanyard or neck strap. Not the end of the world since I just made one out of extra paracord I had laying around but I’m not sure why minor detail was overlooked. Still great whistle that comes in lots of awesome color choices.
