This gimbal is a great gimbal if all you want is a rock steady picture and plan on adding music or vocal narration in post production. However, because of the way the GoPro Hero 9 mounts to the gimbal, you can't use the Media Mod or a microphone adapter, which seriously limits audio recording capabilities if you want or need to capture sound with the video.

Great quality product. Perfect image stability speciality at dark scenes. I usually turn off the digital stabilization of my Hero 10 and the quality of the videos are superior. Very satisfied. As I said, this is a must have!

Well I have had this camera stabilizer since March 2022 and it has been quite inconsistent. I bought this because I felt as if it was the most high of quality and it would be consistent when I needed it most for family outings and such and now it can hardly stay up for more than 5 minutes. I have the application for iphone and it connects however the connection with the go pro is is inconsistent. But that’s not the most important part when the gimbal has been fully charged and I bring it for some tripod shots it fails and the gymbal almost shuts down however the lights are still on but the shot is lost. I wish I could have my money back. I did get some quality shots but do I really have to buy this every 6 months to get some function? Lets see how customer service responds. *Update I have connected to the application, I have calibrated, and everything this thing is fully unfunctional now. After using for a couple occasions for traveling I got regular errors causing me cut out multiple portions of video because it just goes limp smh

this a pretty good gimba once you get use to it. the only problem we have is that sometimes it would disconnect from the gopro 9 and we have to redo the wifi again.

Need to go to YouTube to set up, the instructions are absolutely awful and the trigger will not take photo activate video or do anything once you finally pair it

One gimbal is started , it holds position & works for few seconds then faints but power is on . I have to power off and on to bring it back it holds only for few sconds

I actually bought this for my Qoocam EGO from Kandao a 3D camera and this gimbal holds the weight nicely and stabilize the camera. But the remote function does not work.

Auf der Suche nach einem Gimbal für meine GoPro‘s zählte ich den Inkee Falcon Plus, aber auch den hohem iSteady Pro 4 zu den Favoriten. Habe mich eben dann erstmal für den Falcon entschieden, aber ehrlich gesagt, schon mit der Intension ihn wieder zurückzuschicken, wenn er die beworbenen Anforderungen nicht erfüllen kann. Interessiert hatte mich bei dem Falcon auch die mögliche Nutzung mit dem GoPro Media Mod und die Befestigung mit Inbusschraube oder Flügelschraube! Eben das ist beim iSteady anders. Da wird die GoPro mit „Klammer“ befestigt und das ist so finde ich ein No-Go! Erfahrungsgemäß, hält so etwas zumindest bei mir nicht lange durch. Allerdings kann damit die Kamera schnell demontiert werden, was beim Falcon umständlicher ist. Nun als der Falcon bei mir landete, habe ich ihn direkt mit dem Media Mod und der GoPro 9 zusammengebaut. Die Ausrichtung bzw. Nivellierung der Kamera mittels zwei Inbusschrauben, war überhaupt kein Problem und ich kann nicht verstehen, dass manche Leute das als Schwierigkeit ansehen! Die Verbindung über Bluetooth mit der Kamera klappte auch problemlos, man muss nur wissen, dass man bei eingeschalteten Falcon den Powerschalter 8 mal schnell! drücken muss, dann leuchtet die grüne Kontrollleuchte auf und man kann mit der GoPro mittels, mitQuik APP verbinden auf der Kamera, die Kamera, wie beschrieben Verbinden. Dies alles wird auch sehr gut auf den Netzseiten von Inkee mittels Videos beschrieben. Ja die deutsche Anleitung ist wirklich schlecht, da ist definitiv noch viel Potential nach oben! Ein Problem ist auch die dauerhafte Verbindung mit Bluetooth zum Smartphone, zumindest bei meinem iPhone. Der Gimbal verliert nach jedem ausschalten sein „Verbindungsgedächtnis“, und um die Verbindung wieder herzustellen, muss ich die Bluetooth Verbindung auf dem Smartphone ignorieren und dann den Falcon neu suchen, voila, da ist er dann wieder und übrigens, die Einstellungen, die man am Smartphone für den Gimbal gemacht hatte, bleiben erhalten! Was für mich auch ein Problem darstellt, ist dass der Media Mod im ausgeschalteten Zustand die GoPro leer saugt! Dies geschieht z.B. über Nacht, wenn die GoPro im Media Mod bleibt. Eine leichte Verbesserung habe ich beim abschalten des GPS erfahren, dies ist aber keine wirkliche Lösung finde ich. Das ist allerdings ein Problem von GoPro und nicht von Inkee! Trotzdem Problematisch, auch für Inkee, da durch die gewählte Befestigungsmethode mit Media Mod die Kamera nicht einfach aus dem Media Mod herausgezogen werden kann, da die Befestigungsohren der GoPro dies verhindern. Wenn auch der Akku beim Filmen mal zur Neige geht, und gewechselt werden muss, muss ich die Kamera vom Gimbal lösen und anschließend evtl. wieder neu justieren, das ist übel! Zum Glück bietet der Gimbal da die Möglichkeit die Kamera über USB C zu laden, um länger online zu sein. Auch die Befestigung mit Inbusschraube bei montiertem Media Mod gefällt mir persönlich nicht! Schöner wäre es mit der „normalen“ Flügelschraube von GoPro, aber diese ist zu kurz und die Kamera wird dann schräg montiert, weil die Schraube die Kamera hochdrückt. Da wäre es doch toll, wenn Inkee eine passende etwas längere Schraube dazulegt, weil Inkee eben auch damit wirbt den Media Mod zu montieren. Leider ist dies nicht so, deshalb habe ich mir eine längere Schraube auf meinem 3D Drucker selber erstellt, kann man auf dem Bild am Ende sehen, was ich meine. Noch ein wichtiger Pluspunkt ist, der große Stativfuß, also das Dreibein. Damit steht der Gimbal wirklich sicher! Beim iSteady ist er etwas kleiner ausgelegt. Der Griff ist dafür beim Falcon etwas kürzer und ich muss zum Starten von Filmaufnahmen oder zum Schießen eines Fotos zwei Hände benutzen, weil ich meinen Daumen nicht so weit um die Ecke bekomme. Ich kann natürlich den Gimbal etwas drehen, dann komme ich aber evtl. ungewollt an die Horizontal-Vertikal Steuerung. Beworben wird der Gimbal ja damit, dass er es schafft die GoPro 10 mit Medi Mod und Light Mod von GoPro zu tragen. In der Bedienungsanleitung, wird aber die maximale Traglast mit 200g angegeben! Da stimmt doch etwas nicht! Ich habe mir mal meine montierten Geräte genommen und sie auf meine Feinwaage gelegt, um die tatsächliche Traglast zu ermitteln. Nun, meine GoPro 9 wiegt mit Akku ohne Linse 153,6g das sind 5g mehr als die GoPro 10. Ohne Akku und Linse wiegt die GoPro 9 122g, mein Max Lens Mod wiegt 7g, der Media Mod wiegt ohne Mikrofonschutz 56,6g der Mikrofonschutz wiegt 2,1g. Dazu kommt noch die selbstgebaute Flügelschraube mit 10,7g das sind 7g mehr als die beigelegte Inbusschraube. Den Light Mod benutze ich nicht! So komme ich in meiner Kombination auf satte 230g! Das ist dann aber weit über den 200g die als maximale Traglast angegeben sind. Selbst wenn ich die beworbenen Komponenten wiege komme ich mit GoPro 10 gesamt auf 215,4g also mit Media Mod und mit Inbusschraube, ohne Max Lens Mod. Allerdings das angegebene Gewicht des nackten Gimbal mit 293,6g stimmt. Nun was soll ich davon halten? Bis jetzt funktioniert alles wunderbar! Oder verschleißen nun die Lager schneller? Mal abwarten! Als Resümee kann ich sagen, dass ich den Falcon nicht zurückschicke, wie anfänglich beschrieben, da ich mit dem Gimbal vollends zufrieden bin.

Bought this to help me film my Radio Controlled Crawling adventures. So fa it has worked perfect for keeping the GoPro at the perfect orientation to capture the rigs doing its thing. the way that it is manufactured allows me to put it on a extension pole and get it down low without any of its rotation components getting into the view of the camera lens. highly recommend this gimble to anyone out there that want awesome close up action shot of there RS crawlers doing what they do best. battery lasts a long time and having the capability to charge the gopro right from it is an awesome addition.

I like that it works as stated with the GoPro. I would like it even more if there was a version that could work with an Osmo DJI Action camera 4. It will work with the DJI but from what I understand only using the tilt and pan. It doesn't allow you to control through bluetooth although I haven't tried it. For the price it is pretty good as I have had another gimbal I have paid more for and is useful only as a paper weight.
