These were fun. I had one oyster that was broken in it vacuum sealed pack. The rest, I had to shuck. They were really fresh with no smell at all. Each pearl is nearly round to round and measures between 6.9 mm to 7.5mm. It looks like I got darker colors including a very pretty peacock black pearl. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. I cant wait to drill and set them.

This is a great gift for kids for fun. I bought two sets for my grandkids ( ages 5 and 8) for Easter. They loved opening them and finding pearls. They each need up with ten pearls, all of various colors. While I was online watching, the pearls were of slightly varied size, nice and round, and seemed lustrous. The kids were absolutely thrilled. They are just keeping them in jars and. We’re not interested in putting them in any jewelry. I would do this again in a heart beat!!

These are a great a price and there isnt hardly any smell to the oysters. They are pretty easy to open because the shells are so brittle they just break apart. The pearls are just placed in the oysters so you have to be careful when opening them not to have the pearl fall out. The color on the pearls weren’t really even on some you can see where to pearl sat in the dye longer on one side than the other but I didn’t mind that too much. My only complaint is the color on the pearls bleeds. After opening I laid the pearls on a dry paper towel and the color stained the paper towel just from sitting on it. I wiped it gently with a damp paper towel to remove any oyster bits or chemicals from the oyster and it came off then too.
