Low Powered, direct sunlight, works for low water lift situations in bright light.
It is what it described. Using the nozzles supplied do work. Keep in mind, this is a low powered pump and the pump only works well when the solar cell is in direct sunlight. If you have more than 12 inches upward piping, this unit is not the right one. However, if you have low lift, and want a solar powered easy stream of water then this works nice. The only real issue is mounting the solar cell. No tabs, hooks, or clamps on it. Mounting the solar cell requires some creativity.

Birds Luv It
So far it's running great, In full sunshine it really pumps out the water. I had to experiment with the different nozzle heads to find what worked best and not keep spraying water over the sides. My bird bath is only 16" so water was splashing out so i ended up just removing the spray head and run it as without, and it works fine and the bird don't care. If you have a larger bird bath you should be fine with any nozzle. It's been so hot I have had to refill with water twice a day due to over splash, birds drinking and splashing, and evaporation. You do have to keep the intake clean from Grass, junk ,ect,. I just take mine to the sink and spray it out takes 2 min. Any interruption of sun and it will stop as you can see in the video. Love it. No problems so far. My Glass bird bath came from a store in my area called Ocean State Job Lot. And the pump right here an Amazon. Hope this Helps.

Nice Little Bird Fountain BUT...
Pros: It works nicely. So far seems to have a good power for it's size. Has the perfect spray for a bird bath. Birds are loving it. I'm honestly not sure what people are complaining about parts not fitting??? they may have gotten a different model or were missing a piece??? Everything went together easily for me. It's got a nice size spray so you're going to want a pretty decent size bath or the overspray may drain your bird bath quickly. Cons: The solar panel needs SOLID direct sunlight. In the summer heat, I prefer to keep the bath in the shade to keep it from getting too hot. Gave it a 4 because I would preferred the cord to be longer so I can keep the bath under the tree and the panel in a part of the yard that's full sun. The cord is not bad, just not long enough. Note: Niether pro nor con...The panel does not have battery storage. When the sun is gone, the pump stops (I knew this before purchase). This does not bother me at all since the birds don't normally "bathe" in the dark.

Stopped working ONE week after return window expired 🥺🤯
It worked quite well for about a month and then…just stopped working. I changed water daily, cleaned out debris from the mini pump 1-2 times weekly depending on how many seeds/leafs etc I found in the fountain every AM, and used dawn dish soap and a damp cloth to wipe down the solar panel once 2 weeks in. I was, to put it frankly, quite charmed with the way it worked while it worked and thus willing to be a grunt. P.S. The cord connecting the solar panel to the pump was never stretched taut or kinked. It was operating at a strong level prior to this and was in full sun for 8+ hrs daily. BUT, I never read anywhere it couldn’t do that. I expected at least ONE season of use from this. AND it stopped working about a week after the return date was up. Hmmm. This feels scammy, you know? I mean, it was fantastic while it lasted but it DID NOT LAST. I’m saving up for a buzzlet.

Fun Solar Fountain That Works Best in Direct Sun
This solar water pump is a nice, simple way to add movement and sound to a bird bath or small pond. When the sun is strong, it works right away! It’s very easy to set up — just place it in water and let the solar panel do the work. No wiring or batteries needed, which makes it convenient for outdoor use. We hooked it up to this little frog fountain in our birdbath and couldn't be more pleased!

Very nice basic little pump
This cute little solar pump was just what I wanted. Something small and inexpensive to keep the water moving in a little birdbath dish out in the backyard where there is no access to electricity. It is as advertised, very basic, without even an on/off button. This is NOT the type of fountain that charges up a battery and then works consistently. If the sun is shining directly on the solar panel, it works. If it is very shady or at night, it does not pump. It comes on an off and varies in intensity according to the sun. The birds are happy, the water stays clean longer, and the sight and sound of splashing water is soothing. There are no real instructions, but once you figure out the "puzzle" on the box showing the various combinations of the spray heads with or without the extender/riser you will certainly find a combination that works for your own little fountain. I am using it without a spray head, just the short extender pipe since the water pan I have is rather small and it was spraying out of the pan with the spray heads when the wind blew. With the no-spayhead option, it looks a little like a drinking fountain. Picture attached. I like it very much.

Bad product and no recourse
I bought this Aisitin DIY Solar Water Pump for my Birdbath the first time from Amazon in August of 2024. Out of the blue it quit working in May 2026. I purchased another in May 2026 and this one quit working as of today 6/28/2026. I checked it all out cleaned the solar plate and pump. But nothing is responding. So disappointed. The product instructions printed on Amazon site is not even the product that I have.!! And its tooo late for a return. Disgusted!!!!

Giving 5 * as it’s a neat little kit and easy to set up once you’ve figured out a rather confusing instructions sheet. As others have said, the array has to be in direct sunlight but it is one of the cheapest options out there so limited functions are to be expected. I think it’s really pretty, just hoping it would attract some birds.
