A Winter Must Have
I have always been a keen gardener so when I got a greenhouse I thought I would go into full green finger mode all year round, growing my own herbs, vegetables etc. which at first was a success, however the reality of living in the UK soon set in and I was faced with not but death when entering my greenhouse. My main issue was the extreme temperature drops, it could be 15 by day, then drop as low as 3/4 within the same day. I tried to resolve this through heating the greenhouse with a kerosene heater but this was a waste of time and the fumes were not great. I therefore searched and found this grow light which not only helped with the temperature fluctuations as the light gives a decent heat, and in the winter months meant I could continue growing but more importantly what I had grown previously was maintained and the minimal daylight didn’t matter as I had my trusty light. I have been running my light on a timer through the use of smart plugs but the controls are easily managed manually. The easy pullie system means that the light can set at varying heights. I have not noticed any adverse effects to my energy bills, even though I use the light on a regular basis. All in all I would definitely recommend this product and come the next cold snap will likely invest in another!

So far so good
This seems to be working quite well so far. We bought it to try to keep some tropical-sun-loving plants in better health through our dark winter. Previous years have seen many die and others barely survive the winter. So far the plants seem much happier. Some are already greener than they were in the summer. I'll try to remember to report again in the spring if it's been a success. Amused being asked to comment on the timer function as the device I bought doesn't have one of those. But I've powered it through a Homekit smart plug so I comes on in the early hours and goes off an hour after sunrise, thus extending the plant's "daylight". One annoying feature is that the lead is too short, is fixed at the appliance end, and has a moulded-on 3 pin 13A UK plug at the other. So to avoid voiding the warrantee I have to connect it to a trailing socket tied to my curtain rail. That's rather ugly.

Total value for money
the light is off a simple build but very well finished and would probably put as an equal to some off the more expensive brands I've purchased in the past.

Easy to set up
Very easy to set up and adjust brightness, tomatoe plants thriving.

Well made cost effective grow light
This year I decided I would get back into growing my own vegetables, but this time I wanted to do it from seed.I set my propagators up in a well lit room (skylights) but some of my seedlings were becoming very leggy. As such I decided to invest in a grow light to perk them up. After doing plenty of research and comparing what was on the market I settled on the Vannect. After setting it up, within hours my Seedling had pointed themselves at the light source, so its obviously doing its job. All my seedlings now seem to be doing better, so much so, I purchased another unit.Hopefully I will get many years use out of these.

Excellent LED grow light.
Very glad i bought this grow light. Our chilli plants are the biggest we've ever grow them at this time of year thanks to starting the seeds and then keeping them under this light. They are already in flower, which is unbelievable for the UK. Highly recommend this light!

Sturdy and easy to hang, but not able to support the area specified
The product has a surprisingly sturdy feel to it and is easy to hang. The lights themselves aren’t bad, but are but not completely able to support the area that ia advertised accurately. I am using these lights in a 80cm x 80cm grow tent and can light most of its surface if I want my plants to get adequate light. Using it on a smaller surface, the results are very good.
