Be advised this thing is sharp! It's sturdy, easy to use, easier to grip, and made of solid materials. Its not some razzle dazzled $100 kitchen tool, but this peeler is the same brand my spouse used in restaurants on different levels as a prep, cook & sous chef. Please be safe. It gets the job done for sure. I took off my fingertip being careless, so you know a potato doesn't stand a chance in h*ll. Happy cooking! :)

Still going strong 20 years later
I bought my first at Walmart about 20 years ago and I’m still using it. The blade is reversible, which isn’t the case for most peelers. The handle was a bit wider but this works too. Nice grip, nonslip, easy to use, very light, and has the potato eye-gouging thing on the side; just plop it in the dishwasher. Great to peel anything with ease, including butternut squash. I bought this one as a backup for the next 20 years and will be berried with it. Lol Let’s hope the blade will hold that long.

Not what I expected
It was not as I expected. The grip was okay but it didn’t seem to be sharp enough.. I passed it off to someone else.
