I must confess. I did not buy this to use as a pencil case, but to hold my diabetes gear - my insulin pens and my testing stuff. It's perfect. There's room for my pen needles and alcohol wipes and it will even hold extra pens for travelling. It's sturdy and well made. I couldn't be happier.

Item not for me.
I’m just finding a good pencil case for my pens and that fits my needs, personally I didn’t like this one, my notepads ands pens keep falling form the side bag, it was chunky when I store all my pens (I only carry around 27) and personally for me the pencil elastic holders didn’t work since every time I wanted to grab a pen, I just grab it and the whole pencil case came with it, making it inconvenient, and overall the looks just didn’t convince me, too basic. Oh well I’m just a picky person when it comes to pencil cases. Lol.

Exactly what I needed
This little case was the perfect size to carry a dozen pencils, four pens, two permanent markers, and two 3x3 sticky pads when I go to a quick visit to the doctor or on a three week trip to another state. I have enough sharpened pencils that I don’t need to carry a sharpener. The material is tough and beautiful. The zipper works smoothly. It’s just what I needed for my purposes.

Doesn't hold as much as the picture shows.
I looked at the reviews and the pictures that were put out by both customers and the ad pictures put out by the company. The case is a decent length it just does NOT hold many items. Its perfect for someone who only likes MAX like 7 pens, pencils, or highlighters. I am not one of those people so this doesn’t work for me. It was so cute and came in great condition it just is too small and doesn’t function for me. I highly recommend it if you don’t like a lot of things to go in at once.
