This 10 point review of the AIRstik wallet is 100% honest and my opinion, I didn't receive a promotional or discounted item for review (see point #2), I paid for this myself and couldn't be happier with the choice. Keep in mind, this wallet fits my lifestyle very well and is very specific to my needs.1. Minimalist EDC - On a daily basis, I don't need to carry multiple cards or other things, the AIRstik wallet easily fits my lifestyle between work and home carry.2. Longevity - I've used this consistently for over 3 years, preordered November 2014, received January 2015. There are no loose stitches, discoloring, warping, or loss of suction on the back. In fact, this has lasted 3 phones so far - Sony Z1, iPhone 6s Plus, and now iPhone X. This stuck firmly on the Sony Z1 since it has a glass back, I had to use a plastic, non-porous case with the iPhone 6s Plus but had no issues, and sticks fine on the iPhone X without a case, but I do use a case on it.3. I love this wallet and use it daily, in fact, I worried a small business like Kapotas that is Made in the USA may not survive, so I've purchased 2 more as backups...but haven't had to use any of them. Very happy Kapotas is still in business today.4. Customer service - at one point I had an issue with it not sticking after I gave it a thorough cleaning. I reached out on Instagram and received some helpful tips on how to fix it. Turns out, I hadn't let the suction dry long enough and once it did, it was as good as new.5. What's inside - I carry 6 bills in the cash part, drivers licence, debit card and a $20 bill in the card slot. I could probably fit one more card and a few more bills, but don't need it and I like how firm the 2 cards are held in. That's all I need on a daily basis. To be honest, on weekends when going out, I'll change to a phone case without this wallet and switch to a TGT Wallet for the ability to carry a few extra cards and cash, but 3 out of 4 weekends I don't make the switch, I typically add a MinWallet to my carry with a few extra cards with the AIRstick.6. Easy carry - I have no problems getting the phone with wallet in and out of my front pocket. Now, I don't wear tight jeans, so your experience may be different if you do. With as often as my phone is pulled out of my pocket, the wallet has never fallen off, cards have never slipped out, and I've never once worried that I could lose it.7. Get a grip - the way I position the wallet on my phone (about an inch from the bottom) makes for a great resting area in my hand. Putting my pinky finger at the bottom of the wallet lets me rest the phone on the ledge and my three other fingers are able to reach the other side of the wallet while still allowing my thumb free movement around the screen to tap. On the iPhone X, size isn't really and issue. But with the bigger iPhone 6s Plus, the wallet gave me something to grip on the back and have the confidence the phone wouldn't slip out of my hand.8. Easy to clean - I have literally taken the entire wallet under the sink, soaped it up with dish detergent, scrubbed it up, rinsed it off, and left it out overnight to dry. I'm sure this isn't the "official" way to clean it, but this worked for me when I felt it really needed cleaned. Above when I mentioned I had an issue, it was this when I didn't let it dry out enough before reattaching.9. Materials - IMO. Suction is way better than the 3M permanent wallets that are much cheaper. As I said above, I've used the same wallet across 3 phones now and it's still as good as day one. The leather used is soft to touch, but firm enough that cards or cash don't come out.10. Honestly not that great of a product and regret buying it

I backed the original version of this wallet on Kickstarter over 5 years ago. I have used it every day ever since I received it. I have stuck it to multiple phones. I spent 3 years or so with my ID card stuck to the back of it. I currently keep a credit card sized mirror on the sticky side.The picture I included shows the new wallet with my Metrocard, 1 Credit card and one ID. The slightly smaller wallet next to it is the original from 5 years ago without the cash compartment. It's nicely broken in and is still my daily driver. I will use this thing until it disintegrates!!! I am so happy that I have a back-up just in case.Every time I think about replacing my original wallet, I look at it and realize that I don't need to. I have received two wallets as gifts in the time I had this thing and it's hilarious because there is NO WAY I will ever switch to another wallet. I also backed the original Ridge Wallet. And while that wallet is amazing from a "tech" standpoint, the Kapotas/Airstick wallet is the one for me. (Besides the elastic on the Ridge walled stretched out and became useless, but I am sure they improved their design after all these years.)The only reason I bought this again is because the thought of using another wallet terrifies me. I was also happy to see a note from the creator, Joshua, on the bottom of the invoice. Good to see that he is still going strong and can survive by making a product that doesn't need to be replaced every year!!!JUST BUY IT ALREADY!!! Why are you still reading this??

I loved the idea of this item but unfortunately, it was tighter than I had expected. It WILL fit 4 cards in the front pocket, but they will not be easy to remove quickly. I thought maybe if I moved one card to the cash compartment, that that would be a good workaround and I'd be able to keep it. But, no go. The cash compartment is too short to keep cards in. I really wanted to love this, but it's really too small to keep what I need on a day-to-day basis.

I absolutely love this wallet! Being someone who likes all my necessities at my fingertips, this is perfect for me. I purchased the black one and it is very durable. I especially like how the seller includes a sticker so the wallet can attach to any case you may be using on your phone.I like that this is handmade and very unique so I didn’t flinch at the price. In doing my research, I noticed the company makes a “bumper” for your phone which is like a case without the back. I was apprehensive about having just the wallet and nothing else to protect my phone if I removed my case (before I realized they include the sticker), so I now have the bumper and the wallet and feel my phone is more protected on the sides, as I like the sleek look of not having a case.I made sure I only put in a few cards and my money exactly how the seller recommends (folded in half per the video) and they all stay in really well!Great purchase! Love the mesh case it comes with!

I thought I would really like it, but it's poorly made and really doesn't store very much. While the micro-suction really does work (tip: once you stick it, don't move it around), the wallet does not hold many cards at all. Worst thing is, the slot for cash opens both ways (terrible design!), so if you don't have cards wedging your cash tight in, the cash just falls right through. I couldn't have wasted more money.
