Great piece of kit
Stupid easy to install. I should have bought this years ago. It basically shows you all the data an obd2 reader will tell you with the additional of height above sea level, gps, mpg, brake test, 0-60, etc. It’s a great tach. It worked perfectly on my 2007 Toyota.

Well worth the price.
It helped me determine I have a faulty vehicle speed sensor / transducer in my Land Rover Discovery 1. The speedometer was showing normal but what was being reported to the ECU (accessed via the OBD2 reading) was way off and all over the place causing shuddering and loss of power. The problem was intermittent and viewing a code scanner would be very challenging to catch the problem. For about $40 tax included it’s well worth it for just this reason. But, it’s also really nice to have digital readings of coolant temperature and voltage. This era of Land Rover is notorious for the factory temperature gauge not moving until you are already overheating.

A welcome gauge set at a reasonable price
This device seems to work well. It ggives insight to various process and how well they are accomplished. The only thing I would think that would make it better is to increase the size of the instructions. The font size is so small that it's very difficult to read. Works great for my 1996 Geo Tracker.

Functions fine (not as well in a Rav4 prime though), absolutely garbage manual
Bought this to get a tachometer functionality because some people on a forum recommended this to get a tach for a Rav4 prime. The issue with the Rav4 prime (and not so much with this HUD) is the battery voltage is super inconsistent. Sometimes it's over 14V, sometimes its at 12.8, 12.9V, and it can interfere w/ the voltage off, so unless if you're okay at working out some inconsistencies with this display, maybe don't get one for the Rav4 prime (I mean, the product description says it's not compatible w/ hybrids). The mounting tape wasn't very strong, and the suction cup was initially not "suction" at all until I took the proper time to get it suctioned on the window, and it has held itself in place ever since. There's an included screwdriver to remove the bottom plastic plate that you adhere the double sided tape to, I opted to removing that after getting the suction cup working properly, and used a piece of tape so the little remaining plastic bits have a soft place to sit on and doesn't damage the dash. 3 control buttons lets you to cycle between different display modes/entering into the settings/switching different readings on subsections of the HUD, and you're able to see readings like coolant temp, oil temp, transmission temp, turbo boost (if your car has a turbo), there's not too much customization, but there is a blanket reading page that just shows everything possible, if you need something like that. What is absolutely awful and not an excuse however, is the manual. There's like...no instructions on setting the manual, and it feels like half of the settings don't even do anything. There's also no way to disable certain warnings, like "high coolant temp warning", the only thing you can do is set it to an ungodly 200C. It also seems to shut itself off after the specified voltage after 3min regardless of what you set for the timer to turn this OBD2 off, at least that's what I assume what that setting is supposed to do, but there's no manual to tell me that. Given the price, this would absolutely be 5 stars had the manual actually detailed what all the settings did.

Very nice addition for monitoring vehicle information.
This is a nifty little gadget. Various display mode allows me to pick the type and data I want to see. It fits snuggly on the corner of the dash board. I use it to display oil, water, CVT(*) temperature in real time. In the first try, the timed auto-off didn't work and it stayed on. It turns that I also need to set the auto-off voltage to >13V. Then it will turn off when the engine is off and after the set time. The logic is a bit odd but it worked. I bought one each for my 2018 Forester and 2020 BRZ. I do need to tweak the speed by 2~4% so the reading matches the digital speedometer on the BRZ and the Garmin navigation on the Forester. It reads "CVT" temperature on the Forester. But on the BRZ 6MT it also has a "CVT" temperature readout. I am assuming it is just the temperature of the transmission gear oil? I wonder if there's a way to rename it or somehow they just use CVT to represent all types of transmission.

Works well
This works really well once you calibrate it. Fuel economy needs proper engine displacement to calculate and there is a speed adjustment. Really happy with this purchase for my '99 that doesn't have a tach or engine temp gage.

Works great on 99 Honda Accord in OBDII mode
Wow, great collection of gauges and DTC scan tool itself is well worth the money. The DIGITAL dashboard showing the speedometer/rpm looks cool and modern. The HUD secondary gauge displays Coolant and Oil temp, Voltage, MPG, etc. The display is bright and comfortably clear in bright daylight under the California sun. Installation was simple, plug into the OBD port, then run the cable to the top of the steering wheel. The cable was extra long (about 6 feet) and I stuffed the slack into the fuse box above the OBD port. The included manual covers basic setup but honestly you can figure it out with only 3 buttons to work with. It took me 10 minutes to set the IMPERIAL units (MPH, MPG), set the time (UTC -8 hours), set the auto-turnoff volage to 13.2 volts, and the secondary gauges. For accurate MPG for my car, in the Fuel Settings, I set the Model to Honda and "Swept Volume" from 1.6 liters to 2.4 liters. My car is showing 28 MPG which seems correct. The latest firmware seems to have fixed the complaints found in user reviews. Among them that I found are listed below for those that are on the fence. 1. The "third display in the secondary gauges section" (which shows voltage) can be changed (yes all 3 can be changed now). 2. The display can be set to IMPERIAL (MPH, MPG, etc) or METRIC (KPH, liters/100 km, etc) in the Settings menu. 3. SPEED and RPM correctly matched the dashboard Analog gauges at freeway speeds for my 99 Honda Accord. 4. Clock time is accurate after adjusting the TIME OFFSET -8 hours in the Settings (time is auto-synched with GPS which is a plus). 5. No suction cup included in my package. I do not use it as it falls off unexpectedly during driving but incase you need it. 6. OBD cable is high quality and fits very firmly into the OBD port. Unplugging requires force and it will not unplug while driving on the road. 6. I wear polarized sunglass and can see the display crisp and clear in bright daylight. The display goes dark if you tilt your head 45 degrees. 7. Car parked for 2 days with HUD plugged in and the car starts up fine. HUD kept all my settings. Manufacturer does recommend unplugging the HUD if car is parked for 7 days. 8. For accurate MPG for your car, go into the Fuel Settings, set the Model (ie Honda) and "swept volume" from 1.6 liters to your engine size.

I like everything except it does not give correct mpg on my car.
I am only giving this three stars because I had to send back the first one because it does not read the mpg right. The new one I received also does not give the correct mpg. I kept it because I didn't want to deal with sending it back again. It gives a good reading on the engine temperature, has accurate reading for rpm and mph. It is also has good screen options and lights up nice in the dark. Also I like the style of it. The suction cup works well with no issues of it coming off the window. The wire tucks nicely out of site. I am just disappointed the mpg doesn't work right.
