This pen feels really, really good in the hand. It has a solid weight to it, and that weight is enough to let you rest the pen nib on the paper without having to press at all to lay down a solid line of ink. It writes beautifully, has a very smooth glide across the paper, and looks fantastic on the paper. It also looks fantastic sitting on my desk. Overall, this is my new favorite pen!

When they say that there are level to this .... This Scriveiner fountain pen has met and exceeded expectations. first impression was a total "wow".. as soon as i grabbed the pen and started to appreciate it ... i noticed the quality in material in an instant .....its heavy ...solid....and really nice !! the 24k gold trim definitely gives it that executive look. It feels amazing. now to the functionality .... its very simple and effective..easy to refill and the lines it leaves are soothing...u can see the quality ink soak in as u continue to write . The compliments received and first impressions have been truly validating. When i bought this Scriveiner fountain pen for me .....i knew i could'nt wait to gift it to a very special friend of mine that is on the top of his game in his executive role.

This is about as lovely a fountain pen as you can get. It writes sooo smoothly and looks absolutely gorgeous. It pulls the ink to the tip beautifully, and it doesn't leak. This pen glides across the paper. It has a little "heft" to it without being heavy or weighed down. Everything you could possibly want in a fountain pen. I have been using it all the time since I bought it as a Christmas present for myself. In fact, I was using it so much that I just set it down on my side table along with my journal in a place where my puppy could jump up and get to it. And yes, she did what puppies do and chewed the barrel of my gorgeous new pen. The good news is that her puppy teeth only dented the barrel. The converter still works perfectly, and so does the pen. The only damage is to the aesthetics. Even though it's a pretty good story to have about your much-loved fountain pen, I also loved the way it used to look! Well, this story has a very happy ending. I reached out to Scriveiner customer service and explained what happened. They're sending me a replacement. So... five stars for this pen, all the way around. Five stars for the way it writes, five stars for the way it looks, and five stars for their excellent customer service. (Thank you Catherine!) If you love fine writing instruments, do not hesitate to get this pen. And keep it away from your puppy.

This is a beautifully made fountain pen that feels luxurious, well-balanced, and professional right out of the box. The previous review is being updated. The main problem with the original pen was that it would not post while writing. (you cannot store the cap on the back of the pens' body). I contacted Scriveiner via email and the response was not what anyone would expect. Then I was threatened with return shipping charges. Shortly after I wrote a lengthily reply email to Scriveiner, I received an offer to replace the pen with one of their EDC heavy Pocket Pens, that when the cap is on pen it, its shorter then a standard fountain pen,( and it fits nicely in my pocket) BUT, when you screw the cap off and post it (screw it )onto the back of the pen it becomes a full size fountain pen. Not only is It beautiful to look at and hold, and is beautifully balanced, it is the most beautiful writing fountain pen I have ever used. It is a fine point and still the point slides along the page effortlessly. After nearly 3 weeks of constant use it still continues to write very smooth, I have only one pen that writes as half as smooth as this one and I paid $150.00 for it. This pen costs almost double what the first pen cost, and they sent it at no charge and they paid shipping. This EDC heavy pocket pen is worth every penny, and it is reasonable priced for what you get. After what I said and did to the first pen, which was a little extreme, they still sent me this new pen. That was the absolute last thing I expected. I cannot thank Scriveiner enough. They did not even ask me to edit my review either, but after what they did for me, its really only the right thing to do. Get yourself one of these pens, I promise, you will love it.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the tines were slightly separated, making me wonder if I had received a returned item. Additionally, it wrote more like a medium, though I purchased and expected a extra fine nib. However, this initial letdown was swiftly resolved by Scriveiner’s outstanding customer service. They were incredibly responsive and thorough, quickly arranging for a replacement. The new pen arrived promptly, and this time, it was perfect. The extra fine nib wrote exactly as it should—finer than even my Pilot pens—and has since become my go-to everyday carry (EDC) pen. Beyond its performance, the Scriveiner Classic Silver Chrome is a stunningly designed pen. It feels solid and well-balanced in hand. The chrome and gold finish exudes a refined elegance. I love love love the finial design. One of the standout features is the converter—it’s the best I’ve used, providing a smooth and reliable ink flow. Additionally, there’s a beautiful and satisfying sound and feel when you cap the pen. It’s a small but joyful detail that enhances the experience of using this exquisite pen. I'm impressed by the meticulous craftsmanship that went into creating this pen. Perhaps one of the most impressive moments came after I had to set the pen aside for a few days due to illness. When I picked it up again, it wrote immediately, as if I had just used it seconds ago—something many fountain pens struggle with. Despite the rocky start, this pen has won me over completely. The combination of exquisite design, top-tier performance, and Scriveiner’s exceptional customer service makes it a worthy addition to any collection. Excellent fountain pen for most writing and/or drawing. I use this pen to write special cards, notes, or communication pieces. I also journal with this in an expensive journal I'm creating for my daughter. The pen is very exquisite looking and handles writing so easily, as fountain pens go. I do some calligraphy for special notes and correspondence and this pen is exceptional in that regard. Easy to use if you're not used to fountain pens and a great "starter" pen for it. It works equally as well with either cartridges or with the included plunger (for use with bottled ink).

Es una pluma con buen peso y balance, con apariencoa muy fina, color rojo muy llamativa, su escritura es suave; biene con 2 cartuchos y un cartucho rellenable que funciona muy bien. Seria un muy buen regalo en caso que asi fuera.

Esta pluma siempre está dispuesta, después de tres o cuatro días, sin usar, lo hace instantáneamente, un plumin de trazo suave y limpio, está pluma en este momento solo es comparable con mi Montblanc, tengo plumas Waterman, Parker, Schafer altas de gama, y para nada son mejores. La estética es clásica,,,muy bonita, y el cierre del capuchón es impecable. La recomiendo

Inte helt nöjd med skrivupplevelsen då spetsen är ganska "vass". Fungerar absolut och är otroligt snygg.
