What Kinds of cell phones are compatible with this dashboard car phone holder?

I have an iPhone X and my partner has an 11 and they fit well, but it is pretty adjustable.

Does this work if you use a pop socket on the back of your phone?

Yes, as it is designed to accommodate any size phone. Your phone will be slightly angled in the case and it won't affect the fit. The only word of caution is if you have an iPhone, the charger is at the bottom of the phone which is an awkward fit if you have to charge it whilst you're driving.

Has anyone tried this in a Vauxhall astra mk j

I've not stuck it down to facia but it is stable in horizontal position vertical a little unstable

Will my phone fall off when the car phone holder shakes? Is this holder stable?

The holder is very stable as it mounts directly on the dash my phone has never moved once correctly positioned
