GreenWaterFarm Triops Red Longicaudatus Eggs for Hatching and Culture Suitable to be Pet and Science Project (Pure 200 Eggs)

Got huge! Worked great!

I'm a very experienced aquarium expert with decades of practice raising fish and shrimp. I set up two different small tanks, good water, air stone, followed the directions perfectly. After multiple tries none of the eggs hatched from multiple purchases I made. Must have been a bad batch or exposed to high heat during transport or something. It was supposed to be a fun project for the kids to help learn with and they're bummed out it was a total failure.

The eggs had a crazy high hatch rate, I hatched them out in 3 tiny ball jars and had a bunch of nauplii in each jar. They all hatched quickly and they were very plentiful. I made a mistake in not separating them early however, as they all cannibalized each other until only one remained, the beautiful little fella pictured. Triops tend to do that. Next generation I hatch, I will definitely separate them earlier, until they’re mature enough to live together. These are great eggs and I recommend em if you want to grow Triops that are a little more uncommon than the usual “normal” longicaudatus. Also I wish Greenwater Farms offered Triops cancriformis eggs!

There are definitely not 200 eggs in the container and getting the eggs out was almost impossible due to them being stuck on the container(I even tried flushing them out with the water). So far, of the "200" eggs, none have hatched and its been three days. Very disappointing, i dont recommend wasting your money on this product.

No where near 200 eggs inside. Maybe 50 at best. The container is less than ideal, as static keeps the eggs stuck, so lost several of what little was in there trying to get them put. Hatch rate low, most died within a day.

Super pleased with this purchase. Definitely the correct or more amount of eggs. I really like I can try to hatch the amount of eggs I want. No, not all of the ones I put in hatched, but when I dry out the sand those eggs will most likely hatch next time. I got quite a few and they are getting big fast! Always hungry. Most are orange and one is grey? Not sure if this will help, but during hatching I kept it at room temp and used a "UV light for plants" at all time till they hatched. When using a regular lamp it did not work well for me.

Did not expect to see one of these guys less than 10 hours after setting them up. I only put maybe fifteen eggs in to test so I'm delightfully surprised. I know a lot of people complain they don't live long but i will stick to the instructions and cross my fingers. So far I'm pleased.

Awesome purchase!. I had triops when I was a kid and thought I’d like to try again. 24 hours later I have about 5 babies that I can see!. I only used about half the vile. One week later and their on their way to almost being adults! Definitely recommend!

I’ve ordered twice. My first batch were incredible, there were 9 and they grew huge, but I think they started having trouble shedding their shells and they all died within the same 12 hours. The second batch hatched loads but only one has made it but is doing really well. I will purchase more to hopefully add some friends for him.

A lot of baby triops, highly hatch rate. Highly recommended

I’ve bought these previously and had a few hatch, in this batch none hatched. Will not buy again.
