[aarooGo] Remote for Apple-TV 4K / HD Gen1 2 3 4 w/Audio Support

Go into this replacement knowing that this is not an exact replacement to the Apple remote. No voice feature, no swiping/sliding, BUT it has everything else! We've got volume up and down, we've got mute, we've got an easy turn off for the TV and the Apple TV, we've got easy navigation with up, down, left, right, and enter. We previously got a remote with just a few buttons and didn't realize we were not getting full functionality. This remote is not a 1:1 replacement for the Apple TV remote. To do that you'd have to shell out $70 for a new Apple TV remote 😜 But this is a great price of about $15 and does all the essential tasks. So happy we have this economically friendly option that's *almost* as good as the original. Also there was almost no setup, it just worked. Makes me wonder if someone could just buy a remote and mess with me from out our window but for my purposes of not messing with others, this works wonders.

If you’re replacing your Apple TV remote (only), you’re in for a surprise treat! Mine worked instantly, out of the box, for BOTH Apple TV AND my flat screen’s volume!! Without having to set up anything. Amazing. So inexpensive AND an upgrade in functionality. 👍🏼👍🏼

This remote paired instantly and provides a pretty decent line of site remote replacement for my damaged apple TV remote. The only drawbacks I'm finding is that you have to be in line of site of your TV/ Apple tv device and occasionally I have to hit the power button more than once to power up both Apple TV and my LG TV in sync. One other qualm is that I wish they had configured the buttons a little differently. The "TV/Home" button is a little outside of the other buttons and it takes a little bit of usage before you learn the layout. Overall this is a pretty good affordable replacement for the apple tv remote. Because it lacks siri, you will have to use the old fashioned single letter entry for doing searches. If you are doing a lot of searches or entering passwords, you can always use your iphone remote, but this remote will perform most of the other functions quite well

This remote serves as an excellent and low-cost replacement for the Apple TV's remote. It's especially important to me to be able to use the remote to pull up the app switcher (which shows the "cards" of all the running apps on the ATV) and then close each app. This remote replicates that function perfectly. I did have a minor issue when I first received the remote. It was sending some correct IR signals to the ATV, but some, like the directional pad, were not working. I emailed the seller, and they quickly replied with the steps to "re-pair" the remote to the ATV. That worked and solved all of my button issues. Fingers crossed that this remote can hold up (buttons remain responsive, etc) over time.

If you're shopping for a third-party remote for an Apple TV, this one is an incredible bargain. I have two Apple TVs in my home. One I bought recently and it came with Apple's new silver clickwheel remote, which is a very good product. But I also have a much older Apple TV that came with Apple's infamous black "glass" remote, which is one of the most frustrating products Apple has ever made. I've bought several third-party remotes over the years to replace it but none of them could stand on their own. I always had to go back to my original Apple remote to do certain things. THIS very inexpensive remote works great with my old Apple TV, replicates all functions, and did so right out of the box, without any programming. The only thing I had to do was program it to control my Vizio television (to turn it on/off), which took less than a minute. The remote is very light but feels well-constructed. Highly recommended!

I’ve tried several IR Apple TV remotes, and this one is by far the best. I have no issues communicating with the Apple TV For television programming you definitely have to follow the programming introductions. Scan the QR code in the instructions, this will take you a setup instructional video. VERY SIMPLE process. It works perfectly with my Samsung TV. I liked that this remote is thin and black. Not the typical cheap looking silver. The buttons have a nice feel to them and are not excessively “clicky”. I like to remote enough I will probably buy an additional one to put in storage for future use.

Cons from remote- Volume would connect and disconnect at random and I didn't know how to fix it - the right click button got jammed and it's hard to press now(if you're getting this because your touch screen is making you cry, be aware) Cons from lifestyle- If I didn't have cheeky kids then this remote would have lasted much longer! Lol The back got lost, then broken, batteries fall out and get lost constantly now. PROS This remote connected instantly to my Apple tv 4k 3rd gen. Turns on the TV, and the apple with no problem. (Pro Pro for parents, This has no speech to text button ! So no more kids looking up whatever they want on prime/youtube without asking !)

Es mejor de lo que esperaba. Cuando mi control original tuvo un pequeño accidente, adquirí un genérico que nunca se enlazó con la TV. Este fue mi segundo intento, más caro que el primero sí, pero funcionó y se enlazó tan pronto le puse las pilas. Se maneja muy bien, con pulsar el encendido prende la TV y el Apple TV, igual para apagarla. No tuve que hacer nada... solito se sincronizó. Lo único que no es perfecto es el control de volumen. De uno en uno funciona bien, pero tarda un poco en reaccionar cuando lo dejas oprimido para que suba varios niveles y en mi caso, si lo dejo apretado para que lo baje varios niveles, me apaga la Bose que está conectada a la TV, así que hay que darle de uno en uno para bajar el volumen, mala suerte para mí, pero es un bug sin mucha importancia. Fuera de eso, lo recomiendo totalmente. Consejo: Nunca echen las sábanas en la lavadora sin cerciorarse de que el control de tu ATV esté entre ellas. Si no muere ahogado, la centrífuga lo remata... fue horrible.

El control es idéntico a la imagen, de buena calidad. Se conecto excelente al apple tv, se sincronizo con mi televisión sin problema alguno, te dice la manera de usarlo según tu marca de tv, excelente producto!!!

Compre el control remoto porque tengo el de panel arriba y la verdad nunca me gustó. Prefiero tener la rueda y el botón al centro, en mi AppleTV 4K viene ese control y es mucho mejor para usar. Lo compré para mi AppleTV HD y funciona muy bien, se configura fácilmente y lo mismo con la TV, el único problema es que para picar el botón del centro hay que hacerlo con fuerza y fijarte que prenda el LED porque si no no pasa nada, pero por la diferencia de precios de este con el control de Apple pues no creo que sea mucho problema.

Me sirvió completamente para mi Apple TV a un precio muy accesible! Muy fácil de sincronizar y con el puedo subir bajar el volumen de mi tele y apagarla también. Viene con su instrucciones de como se sincroniza y estoy encantado!

Funciona como el control original. Fácil de conectar. Buena compra!
