essence Lash Princess Curl & Volume Mascara, Black (Pack of 1)

I bought this mascara for my granddaughter, so this review is based on her experience with it. She absolutely swears by it and really likes the way it makes her lashes look. She has tried other mascaras but keeps wanting this one, which says a lot to me. It's also reasonably priced, so I don't mind replacing it when she runs out. I can only go by her experience, but she gives it a definite thumbs-up.

This stuff is amazing. Cheapest mascara I have ever bought (except for maybe when I was in high school literally 50 years ago!) It performs like a very expensive brand. No clumping. I'm a big fan and should probably just toss all of my name brand mascara. This mascara is the bomb!!

Overall, this is a good mascara! It's been my go-to for about a year because it gets the job done without breaking the bank. However, things have been a little bit hit-or-miss.Pros:Non-allergenic, so my skin/eyes didn't get irritatedEasily washed off with makeup remover, so no harsh or irritating scrubbing.Great price for the amount of product in the container.A forgiving mascara that's good for beginners.Layers wellCons:Doesn't hold a curl very well. I have thin, straight lashes, and this is not the most successful mascara for giving my curl. The volume tends to be good, but without curl, it flakes off very easily.Tends to flake---after exercise, or 2-3 hours of normal life, it smudges beneath my eyes and in my corners.Clumps kind of easily---like l said, might just be my lashes, but even after wiping extra product off the brush my lashes feel clumpy and not super separated/defined.Breakdown:While not the best mascara for short, stubby lashes, longer lashes would most likely hold this mascara better. Great for layering/distributing product, but not the best for definition or curl.

Such a good find! Great budget brand, works better than drug store brands, love the applicator brush. Doesn't make lashes stick together after several applications, you can apply several coats without clumping.

I love the mascara but it’s very prone to smudging and clumping, absolutely adds curl and volume though so still worth it but definitely have to be careful while wearing

Couldn't believe this was only$4.99! I've used lots of other brands.This one is absolutely my favorite and it comes in a burgundy, which I absolutely love. Great lengthener!

Très bonne surprise ! Ce mascara allonge bien les cils, leur apporte du volume sans faire de paquets et tient toute la journée. La brosse est facile à utiliser et le résultat est naturel tout en mettant le regard en valeur. Pour son prix, il est difficile de faire mieux. Je recommande !

Amazing mascara ! After trying so many mascaras for so many years and this one is by far one of the nicest ones I ever used..It adds beautiful length and volume and no clumping . Highly highly recommend .
