Bought this to temporarily repair a small tear in our washing machines seal while we waited for it to be replaced. We followed instructions and cleaned the rubber seal and made sure it was dry before trying to use it.It didn't even stay on long enough once we started to load the machine. Remember, we have cleaned and dried the surface, stuck the tape down on both sides to keep the split together, held it in place for ages and the tape only did a good job of sticking to itself.I wouldn't use this product again.

You buy a famous brands product thinking these guys wouldn't misrepresent their product or their quality control would make sure bad batches are disposed of.Well, I hate to say it, but you're wrong to think that. This tape is garbage...the only thing it sticks to, is itself and that is only from the factory...Peel it back and try sticking it back to itself....it fails as it loses stickiness quickly. Cut a piece off and stick it to your application...looks good but any form of movement or pressure, and off it comes.Typical cheap masking tape performs better than this. What a waste.

I needed to fix a hole in my outfoor storage box, obviously it had to repel water. This repair is meant to be temporary until I can buy a new hinge which I will seal with silicon, for now it's been about 2 months and the tape is holding up very well.

EXTREME TAPE? NoEXTRA STRONG? NoEXTRA THICK? NoIt's a joke.I don't think I can mention other products here but I can suggest you to look elsewhere...( look inside "a zoo" if you know what I mean )

I won't be buying this product again. It was very disappointing. The good points are: it tears well and is black. Bad points: becomes easily unstuck, frays at the edges, isn't waterproof or splash proof.
