Not good for thin walls. It’s great! But I cannot adjust it or it will fall out of the wall. Still does it’s job though.

I just redid my bedroom and the fixtures I chose throughout were all black metal, so I needed a light by the bed to tie everything together. Rather than getting a light for the nightstand, I went for a light above the bed and I loved the look of this one. The antique brass looking knobs (they’re overtop of the screws in the back attaching the light to the wall), are beautiful. The overall design of the light is really nice, and I was impressed with the quality for this price point.I love how you can adjust the angle of the light up and down, and side to side as well. One thing I wish this light allowed is dimming, though.. You can not dim this light, it’s either on or off, so I chose a warm white lightbulb to remove eye strain when sitting in bed at night. It wasn’t advertised as dimming, so I can’t remove a star for that. It came with everything needed except the lightbulb itself, which is fine since I wanted to choose that on my own.The instillation took about five minutes because all the necessary screws were included, and all I had to do was measure and attach. If you wanted to feed the cord through the wall and connect directly to the electrical, that is also an option which is really nice. If I was able to do that in this space I would have, but I didn’t mind the cord showing with the look of my room.Overall, this is a beautiful light and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a dark metal light fixture for their space. It’s really convenient, easy to install, and brings the space to life. Having the ability to adjust the angle of the light really makes this light stand out and it’s what I love most about it, in addition to the look and detail of the knobs.It deserves the five stars in my book. The quality for the price is absolutely excellent. You really can’t beat this for $30!

We purchased 2 of these to add to our new headboard we were building. I purchased them last year and just now opened them to install them on the headboard. They are beautiful but straight out of the box one of them has a stripped so it just hangs straight down. You can't tighten it to the angle you want or need. That's my reasoning for 3 stars otherwise it would be 5.
