Really good contents just broken beyond recognition.
Shortbread....a taste of my childhood. Brought the walker large size 5 times....each time it seems the packers at amazon used the metal tins of "COOKIES" as a soccer ball. EACH COOKIE IN THE TIN WAS BROKEN SOMETIMES DOWN TO THE SMALLEST PIECES. For heaven's sakes this should be treated as a FRAGILE (No, Fragile is NOT Italian but breakable contents.) $45 dollars +/- is a lot to pay for destroyed contents. Don't misunderstand. The broken contents were delicious they just didn't resemble cookies.

Heaven in a cookie!! But beware of the 17.6oz package!
Who would not like these shortbread cookies?? They are heaven! I was looking for some sort of treat after being stuck at home during the Coronavirus shelter in place. I found these on Amazon and thought it was a great price for the amount of cookies you get. The first bite... so buttery and delicious. Not too sweet just right! I ended up sending a box to my sister for her birthday. She was also in heaven when they arrived. Beware... they are extremely habit-forming. UPDATE: I ordered the 17.6oz box and was very disappointed. The picture shows it contains several shapes... shortbread fingers, round cookies and the wedge shaped cookies. But there are no individual wedge cookies. It is just a very large round cookie that you have to break into wedges which is impossible... you just get broken pieces of cookie. Still tastes delicious, but don't buy this size if you want to serve them.

Corporate greed wins again
These were among my very favorite cookies. Although it stated that they had been discontinued I assumed they would still be good, however they were decidedly stale and tasted a bit off. I saw that Kirkland had taken over the brand which was formerly Walkers and although the Kirkland brand stated that its recipe was “based” on the original that it had added wheat starch, a sawdust like filler, to the original 4 ingredient recipe of flour , butter, sugar, and salt. Very disappointing! I will not be buying either of these again.

Sweet, Sweet Addiction
During the pandemic I (American) went through a Scottish history phase and decided I needed to try real Scottish biscuits with my admitted afternoon tea addiction. MY LIFE CHANGED FOREVER. These are ****nothing like**** the Walker's sold in stores. The texture is perfect. They absorb in tea in an almost dreamlike way. One or two are completely satisfying. I haven't left an Amazon review in perhaps a decade. But I went out of my way to do so today when I needed to reorder them.
