I have some of these larger tubes n my KLR 650. I bought this one, size small 80mm for vertical mounting on my Ural sidecar to store a 30 ounce MSR fuel bottle in with extra engine oil. The MSR bottle fits perfectly. I like to keep my oil where it it leaks it won’t get on anything important, this works great for that. Cap seems to fit well and tightly. Great so far!

I bought these for my tractor as tool storage. They work perfectly for it but my five star review is for durability. Yesterday I was doing some grading work and as I was backing up I heard a crunch and pop. I crushed the tube against a tree. Hard. I thought it was broken for sure and I’ve only had them for a few weeks. Nope, not one crack. It was a little deformed and with some patience I was able to coax it back into shape and the lid was able to screw back on. I couldn’t believe it. The waterproof seal works great to keep tools dry and it’s y’all enough for channel locks and a large crescent wrench. I highly recommend these for more than just motorcycle use.

I liked the size and build of this thing. Unfortunately I misjudged the size that I needed and it was too big and I could not use it for what I intended to. Good quality though

This tool tube is pretty much exactly what it claims to be - it would be 5-star if it came with an o-ring. I got the small one for my V-Strom 650 and it works as-expected. I made an o-ring to seal it out of some old inner tube rubber and now it's even water tight. The small one fits under the pannier rack and doesn't get in the way. If you're mounting it on a V-Strom 650 with pannier mounts, you'll want to attach it beneath the mount, otherwise the tube cap hits the pannier rack and it's hard to remove.

Worked great, I attached it to the inner side of my pannier rack on my motorcycle and filled it with tools for easy access.

Great idea. Almost great execution. Needs some way of locking the lid. Mine took exception to my single cylinder thumper and disappeared faster than my ex wife's ethics

Fits my needs perfectly, tools, extra gas, and Knick knacks. So far it’s sturdy, took the bike out on some rough off-roading and it held up well, dropped the bike and all and no issues so far. Though the screw holes didn’t line up for mounting (normal for universal things), I just zip tied it well enough.

You had ONE thing to do. . . Just keep my trailer's registration and inspection documents safe and dry. I screwed the lid on nice and tight, compressing the rubber O-ring and felt like that should do the trick. NOPE, water got in. Lots of it, and now my paperwork is wet and moldy.
