Great buckel made of metal, however since our belt was not a true webbelt it didn't work as well as I had hoped but we still love the buckel itself.

I like the simplicity of this Rothco Web Belt Buckle & Tip Pack for a utility, everyday belt for my jeans. When I received my buckles, I checked for both the buckle and the end piece for the webbing. Both were included for both buckles I ordered. I also purchased a silver tone version of the same model 4300. I have the heavy webbing material, in 1-1/4 inch and plan to make them for 2 inches bigger than my waist size, or with about 4 inches of excess from where the buckle clamps onto the belt. I've had cotton belt webbing before and I now prefer the heavy Nylon webbing, as it will hold up longer and can be obtained in bulk, sealed with heat to keep it from unraveling at the cut ends and is available from many sources. I got mine from Amazon, both buckles and webbing and each belt will cost me just $6.00 with a minimum of work. I don't consider them military, although when I spent three years wearing this type of belt and buckle when I vacationed in the US Army in the early 70's. This is not for everyone, but for a nice shiny new buckle, this price is good and beats polishing an old buckle.

Great replacement buckle

I like the way it was constructed and the chrome finish on it. But it was way to small to fit my web belt. That why I only gave two stars. The shipping was fast and it arrived in great condition. It matched the photo in the advertisement on Amazon and would had made a great replacement for my other belt buckle that broke, if it would only had fit my belt I would had been be very happy , kinda disappointed that it didn't fit.
