Ikea Stainless Steel Coaster 600.176.15, Set of 6, Silver

Regretted buying these especially since Ikea was out of stock and had it listed on their site at a price as $6.99. They looked attractive in the picture but they are cheap. I hate that I paid $20 for this piece of garbage. It is useless as a coaster. Water from your cold drinks collect and creates a puddle that eventually runs off onto whatever surface the coaster is sitting on. And, if you're not paying attention as you lift your glass it can come crashing down onto the table top or floor as the case may be. Try to find something else if you are thinking of purchasing this. Your money will be better spent on something else.

These look nice, and complement my decor. I really like how the holder has sides that keep the unused coasters in place. I just deducted a star because they're kinda thin, and there is no absorbent material... so these work really nice to stop condensation rings from small glasses for a short-term... but I often have a large 32oz ice water with me that sits there for hours sweating, and the condensation from that large cup spills over the coaster onto the table. I'm going to try to find a similar coaster set that has some sort of absorbent material at the base.

They definitely discolor from putting beverages on them as some people have said, and they also can stick to the bottom of a cold glass of water, for example, when you go to pick up the glass. I am pretty sure you can just wash them with soap and water to remove the stain, but I have never tried and I just don't really care.Probably not the best coasters you can buy, but they are very cheap, attractive, and sturdy. Very happy with my purchase.

Love them! Yes they keep some marks when you clean them, but unless you are extremely particular about these sorts of things, I think they serve their purpose well. I have not noticed any "spill over" when i place cold glasses on them.. They also perfectly match a stainless steel ashtray also purchased on amazon, so exactly what I was looking for! Very modern and stylish.

It protects my furniture from moisture and the backing is great that eliminates scratching my furniture. I can also see myself, it’s like a mirror 😊

These coasters are pretty neat, they do tend to stain easily and due to the reflective appearance, the stains are easily visible so they require constant cleaning after one uses them, if tidiness is important, otherwise they don't look terrible with stains. Very sleek and modern, with a padded bottom to ensure the table surface doesn't get scratched. Very great product, although I only use one at a time, it is nice to have the whole set for when others come over.
