I'm not a licensed electrician, but I do wiring to code. I doubt this unit meets code since it doesn't have a ground -- so I wired ground to it myself knowing its metal cross mount will carry electricity if the romex ground is attached. Next, this needs to come with standard screws to connect it to a box mount. I replaced another ceiling fan with this one. Next point is, it doesn't have two hot connections so that the lights and fan can be separately turned on/off. This is a safety issue, should the remote be lost and this is the light for a room. The instructions call wire nuts terminals. Their terminals are a joke because they put springs in them and not edged wire so it will bite the wires being connected with the wire nut. Thankfully I have wire nuts in my pouch. Working over your head: once you get to where you will need to mount this, you will have to hold it with one hand while getting the wires to match and then put a wire nut on it. DO NOT let this hang off the wires -- I don't think they can handle it. So this takes two people if you aren't used to this kind of work. The mount of the controller shows a completely different mount that the "cross member" mount, so you just drop the controller in and hope the antenna will work (mine did). Control unit -- needs better explanation. Wires to the light unit -- 3 different color wires, I suggest you wire the blue to blue and wire the other two colors together. Light mount -- another joke. It is supposed to be magnetically hanging, but mine would not, so I centered it in the light cover and then screwed that in place.After all that, it looks good and works.

My electrician installed it easily, which he should be able to but he said there’s been ones he’s installed that are not user friendly to install. He said it’s a great fan. I like it has all the features and simple on remote. It’s smaller than I anticipated but that’s because I had to get flush mount. The fan though moves air great for it’s size. The only thing I don’t like is there’s 3 different modes for lighting but I would like to default to soft light. It always comes on cold light. This is fine that it has different light modes but it would be nice to have the ability to set it to your preferential defaults instead of factory. Other than that, it’s a great fan for the price!

I am glad they stand behind their product and customer service is good.Old review ---------Good:- Installation wasn't difficult- Max fan speed is good- Good designBad:- Fan blades were slightly damaged from merchant's method of packaging.- 3 light modes require constant tapping to get to the mode you want.- Sleep timer doesnt work, and not clear if timer is on/off.- No memory mode. Turning fan ON will always default to winter rotation at max speed.- Fan speed 1, 2, and 3 are similar and too powerful.- Fan noise is noticeable.

We got this fan for our bathroom which has no windows or good ventilation. For that it is really nice however it has multiple speeds and 3 different light options and when you turn it off, it does not keep the settings you had it on. That means each time you have to use the remote to click through to the speed and light you want. Other than that for the price it is a great looking fan and has helped our bathroom in terms of air flow. Moves a lot of air and is bright enough to be the main light in the room.

When I first received the ceiling fans(2), I didn’t like the finish on the blades. I contacted the seller and he was willing to take them back. He sent the labels for retuning the product. Now, here’s the catch. You have to pay for shipment for retuning the ceiling fans. In, my honest opinion, I think the blades mess up the flow of the design. I decided to keep the ceiling fans because I really like the overall design. Once the electrician put them up and I saw them in motion everything was fine. There is no noise and the lighting is awesome. Also, the electrician had no problem installing them. He commented how nice they looked.

The light kit did not work. I love the fan but need to get the light kit. What do i need to do?

This is a pretty nice fan! Got it for the bedroom and it works great! Only complaint is that it beeps when you turn it on or switch the setting its on but thats a minor detail. Overall it turned out being easy to install and it's pretty efficient!

Love this fan! I can't sleep without a fan. So many rock, sqeak, and make noise. If you take the time and install it properly, this fan doesn't move or make a sound. I'm extremely impressed. Install is not for the novice, price point is great. And the remote works great and has good options. Only down side. It doesn't maintain light color after turning off. Which is not problem just hit the button another time or two. Would recommend.
