These work wonders for my dry eyes. Super relaxing before bed. Allows me to unwind away from my phone and fall asleep without becoming too hot. These are a must for when I’m traveling, especially after being on a plane.

I had LASIK surgery in 2005, and as I've gotten into my 40s, dryness had become a big problem for me. My optometrist advised that I use a heated compress every day to help keep my myobium glands (the oil glands at the base of the lashes that express a tiny amount of oil with every blink, which keeps the test later of your eyes from evaporating) working well. The problem I ran into with the mask is that, while it's weighted (send to be filled with some kind of coarse sand) and feels good when using it at first, getting the right temperature in the microwave can be tricky (to little Ave it isn't effective, too much and you can burn your eyelids) and the heat doesn't last the full 20 min I'm supposed to use it. Plus, at the end of a long day when I've relaxed before sleep, I don't want to have to get up, microwave the thing, and then come back to bed, just to have to get up in 20 min to put it away. (I tried using it during the day, but it messes with my vision for about 30 min to an hour after use, so that doesn't work for me) I can't across these masks when looking for alternatives, and they are AMAZING! I got the rose scented, and it barely smells, just a light, pleasant scent. The active ingredient starts to heat up as soon as you take it out of the package. I like to shift it around a bit to really get it mixed and activated, but it's not necessary. The ear loops are soft and flexible; pull them away from the mask to stretch them out before wearing. It's rather square, so it isn't light blocking, and you have to manipulate it to cover both eyes. I've been using this mask under the weighted one I was using, and it's perfect. It holds a gentle but intense heart for about an hour! Apply it, lay down and take a nice nap, and when you wake up, your eyes will feel better, and you can just dispose of the mask. I will definitely be purchasing other scents to try then out!

I ordered these on a whim, wondering how they would do on a long flight. Well let me tell you, they were great. They are warm, and lasted approximately an hour. Material is soft, and my eyes felt rested, not gritty upon landing.

The good: It warms up in about 60-90 seconds and lasts at least 30 minutes. Comforts tired sinuses and soothes dry eyes. The bad: 1. First time use confusing, the ear strings are not noticeable as such. You have to rip off the tissue layer on top of the eye pads and stretch it out, only then does it resemble 'ears strings' 2. I asked for the lavender for the aromatherapy benefit. These appear to be the unscented version . Tiny print on the box says 'lavender'. But print on individual packet only says ''natural essential oils etc.'' Possibilities: unscented sachets packed in the 'lavender' box.? Maybe the product used to contain lavender but no longer does? I could 'return' them as not being lavender, but if i request the actual lavender there's no guarantee ?

Why didn’t I know about these sooner?? I put one on when I went to bed last night. So much warmth! It was wonderful. I think I fell asleep before the warmth ran out. I believe these are going to give me the relief I need.

Arrived in timely fashion, eye mask is comfy, and provides relief of tired eyes.

I purchased the Jekeno Steam Eye Mask for a trip, and it has been amazing! I use it on the plane—the lavender scent is very calming, and the gentle warmth against my eyes makes it easy to take a nap, listen to music, or just relax. I’ve also used it during migraines, and it provides real relief. It’s like having a mini spa day wherever you are. Highly recommend for travel or anytime you need a moment of relaxation!

These were on sale. They were cheaper than the others out there, and this scent was even cheaper than the rest of this brand. Could Amazon and the manufacturer know the quality was so poor, they put them on sale to get rid of them? First, the good. They do heat and they last as long as they say they do. But, they are poorly made and many had defects. The ear band is slightly tighter than most brands I've tried. It's flimsy, as they all are, but these have little tears that you have to hold or when you stretch the band it will rip all the way through. The bands need to be separated from the mask, and they used so much glue that when trying to separate the band from the mask, some actually tore. If you're very careful you can remove the band from the mask with just a slight tear, if you're not, you'll make a hole in the mask. Some just wouldn't separate without leaving a tear or hole not matter how careful you were. To make it worse, those that were manufactured like this with the excessive glue, smell like glue. So when you finally get it separated and put it on, instead of smelling a scent or nothing, you're smelling glue. Not pleasant, not healthy. In addition, some of the masks had little granules of the heating compound infiltrate though and be right under the first layer of the mask, close to your skin, which of course shouldn't happen either. I have never experienced any of these things with any other mask. I have purchased this brand before w/o any problem, although the quality was not as good as other brands, and it was only if there was nothing else cheaper or close to the price. This purchase the lot is either defective or they've decided to make a lousy product because they'll still sell, at least until enough people quit buying them.

These heat up gently and throughly; and feel great. They are also very easy to wear, and stay in place. Better than I expected !
