You have to try to mix together the paint to try to match the color to your car. It did not work for me. Also, the adhesive did not stick or blend in well. It was not worth the money. I do not recommend this product.

how big is the fabric?

I no longer have the fabric to measure, but I'd say it's roughly 2 inches square. Maybe 2.5.

Do you think this would work well with a seam that has come apart on the arm rest of my car?

It worked fine on my tear. I did not follow the instructions very well so my job didn't look that good. Not sure about the seam.
