Heater did not last more than a few months.
I got this heater in the end of 2020 and used it daily in the winter months. Since March i did not use it much, but from the past few months it does not work.When i bought this itself the knob was a bit funny but since it worked after moving it up and down i did not bother and fixed it in that position and continued to use it. If you look closely you can see that because of the heat generated the side of the frame is damaged. This can be extremely risky and this happened within a few months of buying, so not a good buy. Yes it is cost effective ,but you can't buy one each year as it did not last beyond 4-5 months. Imagine the waste that we will be producing each year as i have to dispose it and buy another one.

Good for a small space/room
This is a good little heater for a small bedroom which is what I required it for. On the low setting you can have it on for hours without it getting too hot, so a nice comfortable heat. Be careful not to cover the heater as it gets extremely hot and can easily burn fabrics etc (which happened to me but purely my fault). It’s very cost effective to run too so perfect for what I needed. Nice and compact

Dangerous!
For the avoidance of doubt, these are not halogen heaters but radiant tubes and the whole casing gets very hot in a very quick time.These heaters are dangerous - flimsy and poor build quality.On checking the plug, it only had a 5Amp fuse inside - not a 13Amp as is required for fires.Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs!

Economical.
Great little heater to give that extra bit of heat rather than turn thermostat on central heating up. I use on 300 w setting, withing 1/2 hour room is warm enough to turn heater off, cost about 5p for 1/2 hour.

Rip off although good item
It warms immediately and only 1 bar needed. Doesn't use much electricity. What I find annoying is that I was in Poundland today and the same heater costs £12 so I will buy my 2nd one there and save money
