can you run on concrete with these?

I run a lot of 5ks and rran both a hilly 10 miler and 6 miler in them as well as hiked Mt Major in NH...they are excellent...I've had no issues whatsoever...some women behind me in the 10 miler talked loudly about how stupid I was to run in them...I seriously got them for running as I'm training for Marine corps marathon next month...now that I know I can machine wash them...I find them to be my perfect shoes...byebye sneakers

Does the chemical smell go away? Did anyone get a pair that did not stink? These shoes are comfortable but I can’t wear them due to the smell.

Mine smell so bad, I can't wear them. I am trying to find out how to get rid of the smell so I can wear them. I love the feel of the shoe, but won't wear until I can get rid of the offensive smell--it makes me nauseous.

What is the heal to toe drop?

Pretty close to zero. There is no additional layers in the heal part of the sole. Hist a slight amount of padding from the inner sole, which is removable if you really want that "barefoot" feel. You can really feel everything when you are wearing these.

I wear a 6 in street shoes and a 6.5 in athletic shoes. Those don’t appear to come in smaller half sizes. Wondering what size to buy.

I wear a size 10 for one foot and a 9 for the other foot. I wear a wrap on the size 10 foot. I got a size 10 and they stretched enough to work for the size 10 foot WITH the brace on. They tighten enough to work for the size 9 foot so they aren't too loose. These shoes stretch, they are not ridged. I love them so, use your best judgment and if they don't work return them for the other size. I might add, I wear these barefoot except for the wrap on one foot, no socks.

Updated....The most comfortable shoes I have ever worn!

Update....I bought the gray and pink ones the first time. I bought the purple ones this time in the same size but they are significantly smaller and I can barely get them on. Very disappointing. I threw the packaging away because I assumed they would be the same so I can't return them. Finally a pair of shoes that fit my wide feet! I was having to buy shoes that were a size or two too big because my feet are so wide but I can wear my true size in these. They are so comfortable!

Nice, but not for me

Giving these a 3 star. The toe box is definitely wide enough for my wide feet, the 5.5-6 is a perfect length, and the feeling is almost like being barefoot. However, the top of my feet hurt because of not enough room top to bottom, and I loosened everything as much as I could, straps and Velcro both. Very disappointed. I am sure they will work out great for most folks, but not for me.

Better without sock liner

I like these shoes, but hard to adjust to fit if right foot 1/4 size bigger than left. Also, after one day wearing, top of feet rubbed the wrong way by the shoe. Take out the liner and voila! Comfortable again. Good shoe to move to barefoot style, comfortable once you get used to design. Would prefer standard laces or velcro, both is hard to work with.

Comfortable running shoes

I use these shoes to go the gym and I feel like the fit like a glove. My toes are not compressed inside of the shoe and I feel I have more balance when working out.
