This is a daily essential item for me now. I absolutely love the results. I feel the results within a few minutes of taking it in the morning. It does a great job relaxing my nerves and keeping my focus and energy leveled. A little goes a long way so it’s great for the value. I've read a few reviews on its not being easy to mix. I typically mix it with sparking water and it works well and it's tasteless. I’ve even purchased it for my mom and sister. For the first few months, I used it only in the morning. For the past week, I’ve been using it before bed. I find it helpful since I’m typically someone who can’t sleep at night. I’m usually up until the next morning but I’ve been sleeping pretty good every night. I take it in combination with chamomile. I sleep like a baby.

I've been taking nutritional supplements for 30 years, all the different amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, etc. that you can imagine. And much more.I took the theanine for my anxiety and to help me sleep better, and it worked great the first night. I was very calm all day, after taking 400 mgs in the morning, and 409 mgs at night before bed. I slept like a champion.But, my buddy warned me about a rebound effect that he had as well.The next night, I only slept four hours. And as you can imagine, lack of sleep can increase anxiety tremendously. It's spikes your cortisol/adrenaline levels and increases anxiety. That's exactly what happened to me.I also had tinnitus in the morning after sleeping like a Champion.I looked at some of the 1 star reviews, and apparently other people have had tinnitus as a side effect as well.Perhaps it works for some people. But unfortunately I'm not willing to take the risk of the side effects again. One star

Really helps before bed to get to sleep and calm the mind

I use Nutricost's Carnitine, Citrulline Malate, and Beta Alanine together as my pre-workout while fasting in a 3g - 2g - 3g ratio, along with pink himalayan salt and caffeine. It doesn't break a fast which is the primary reason I ordered these specific products. I ordered their products on Sunday afternoon and they arrived the next day on Monday afternoon and I don't have Amazon Prime. It tastes like concentrated citrus when I mix them all together, which I'm perfectly fine with. I just dump them all into my little Ramekin that I use to take shots of powdered supplements and down the hatch it goes, washed down with some room temp coffee which is where the caffeine comes from, and I wipe the tart away with a bit of salt followed by some water.The first fasted workout while using this combination of supplements was phenomenal. I do weight training for 45 min to an hour followed by 30 min of swimming, and usually after a 24 hour fast I'm barely able to swim after lifting weights. I was a god in the pool even on a 24 hour fast and after doing eccentric weight training, and I think a lot of it is due to these natural supplements making energy more available in my body. I also noticed my VO2 max was increased which is probably why I found cardio easier. I'm also keto if anyone is wondering.

This is a high quality L_carnitine tartrate. The product itself is easy to dissolve in water and give tasteless taste. The shelf life is long with good amount of substance per price.
