The colors are nearly identical, rather than being one lighter and one darker as shown. The design imprinted on the one is lovely. The tops are NOT interchangeable, although they look like they ought to be and since they aren’t different colors, you’ll have to be careful not to mix them up. You can also see that the metal parts have blemishes; this might be somehow related to the tops not being switchable — they do look the same, so it might speak more generally to poor quality control in the manufacturing of those parts. I haven’t used them yet, but the needles look fine. I mostly bought these for the cases so if the needles are terrible that’s fine for me, but they don’t seem like they will be. All in all, they’ll serve their purpose and we’re a decent price, so I’m not exactly upset, but there are other similar options and if these break or I find that I want more, I’ll try one of those rather than repurchasing this.

Fits my darning and embroidery needles perfectly. Keeps them all together in one place. I had a couple of plastic cases but the covers kept breaking off. These cases are sturdy and easy to open and close.

These are nice looking and a good size. I can use one for my sewing needles and one for embroidery. The seller included two packets of self threading needles as well!

These are nice, but they are a little bulky. Well made and am sure they will last a long time. Also very pretty wood was used. Would prefer something with a slimmer profile.

Bought these for a friend who sews and she loves them! I was surprised at how well made they are.
