LexmarkMC3426i Color All-in-One Printer with Touchscreen, Multifunction Laser for Office, Wireless, Mobile Ready & Duplex Printing (Print, Copy, Scan, Cloud Fax, 4-Series)

Over the years, many of the office printers I have had I would call clunkers. They were big and heavy, and hard to find a good space to put it. I was very excited to get the Lexmark MC3426i. It's smaller size is perfect for my small office (13.6 x 16.2 x 15.5 in. : H x W x D). It's a color all-in-one laser printer the prints, copies, scans, and faxes. It has a 2.8" touch screen panel, and prints up to 26ppm color and B&W and 13ppm duplex at 2400x600 resolution. The automatic document feeder is It weighs 42.7 lb. As a CPA, I need capable printing. I don't have a need for super high speed printing, and 26ppm is plenty fast enough for my needs. This printer is for my office. I have another larger printer in the admin area, but it's under a contract at a cost per page, so don't want to push all my volume to it. It's recommended for 750-5000 page volume per month, and a maximum duty cycle of 75000 pages per month. It comes with a 250 page document tray. I purchased a second 250 page tray. At this time I do not plan to use the fax function, but that could change. The copy glass is 8x14. The printer was very easy to set up. I loaded the software with the included CD and was up and running in no time. I just started to use it, printing documents, making some copies, and scanning. It takes close to 10 seconds for the first page to print. Once started, I find it to be plenty fast for my needs. It prints very clear, and the colors are realistic. It's fairly quiet which is a bonus. I scanned using Adobe, and once I started the scan I was asked to go to the control panel to accept the scan. As of this writing I haven't figured out if I can skip that step. I have a high speed scanner as the volume of scanning is heavy, so I will use this for small/simple scans. I really like this printer. I like the smaller size, it looks good on the credenza, and is an excellent choice for a smaller office which won't break the bank. The Lexmark MC3426i solves the two problems we had with business printers… cost and size. Our small business requires more than a home printer can handle, but not enough to justify a big, bulky, and expensive business printer. When I came across this one I was really excited over the possibility of finally meeting our business needs without it costing an arm and a leg. I’m happy to report that the printer not only meets, but exceeds our expectations. My favorite features are the printing and copying quality and speed, high paper tray capacity, large ink tanks, and wireless printing function. Please note that the printer is on the heavy side, but thats to be expected from a high quality built printer. I’d definitely recommend this printer to anyone with a small/medium size business. This is a decent printer. It came inside solid box with Styrofoam protection. It was packed very well. It is easy to remove all the protection plastic elements of toners and tapes. The installation is very easy and straightforward process. The printer has CD so you can install the latest software for the printer. If you do not have CD or DVD player on computer, you can easily download the software from the manufacturer's website. I easily connect it to my internet access point. It has nice touch display. I like the feature that it has virtual keyboard to enter the password for Wi-FI. In my previous printer I had to use arrow buttons in order to enter the password. The virtual keyboard is very responsive. The only issue the virtual keyboard letters are little, if you have large fingers you should use pen o use it. After installation of the software, I was able to print the test pages. The printer works quietly and fast. It has both sides paper printing option which can make happy nature lovers, so you can save on paper. The quality of the printing is pretty descent. I printed out my daughters school calendar in color . I am satisfied with the quality of printer. I also tested the scanner. It also works fast. It has the option to save to usb stick, or directly into your storage clouds like DROPBOX, Google Drive etc. The only thing that I did not like is the absence of software for scanning, I googled it and it says I should use windows Scanner and Fax Program for scanning. That software is outdated. I wish that LEXMARK has it's own well designed software for scanner. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with quality and design of the printer.

I'm actually satisfied with the printer function of the printer. However, in terms of managing the device, it's terrible. When I've had to reboot my WiFi router, it drops off the network and requires that I reconnect it before it can be used. Install a new print cartridge? The printer no longer worked, and required a re-install. Attempt to update the driver? The Lexmark software can't find the printer. The printer will randomly take itself offline, and require multiple attempts to reinstall it. Again, I'm satisfied with the printer from a printing perspective, but unless you want to have to constantly fiddle with the device to get it to work, look elsewhere.Edit 3/10/2024. Nope, only prints well when it feels like it. I attempted to print several multi-page documents. about 2/3rds of the way into the printing, the printer suddenly decided that the ink was not going to work properly, despite there being plenty of ink in each cartridge. I'll use this thing until I've used most of the ink cartridges, then it's off to the dump.

Le logiciel d'installation, très facile.Le logiciel de Scan Back Utility fonctionne bien.Trouver comment activer numériseur vers PC, pas simple, une fois activé, une vraie merveille.La durée des cartouche de poudre, reste à déterminer.Si je me fit à ma MC3200, la cartouche de poudre noir de 1500 copie, faite pas plus que 750 copie.En couleur, plutôt compliqué à déterminer.Le temps le dira, mais pour l'instant très satisfait de son rendement, mois de 50 copies de faite.
