Industrial Electronics

This is a heafty book. Great for electronic majors/vocations. It's my opinion that it'll be best to be exposed to similar material before diving into this book. It's a keeper to refer back to, that's for sure! Good luck classmates!

Excellent book for the technician. The authors actually explain what a device does instead of the usual "...the majority carriers can be found..." gobbledygook most EE texts are filled with. Some folks are only interested in learning what a device does and how to implement it, not necessarily build one from scratch. A very good survey of technical devices and applications suitable for a freshman/sophmore course.

The only reason I bought this book is because it is required for my program. I've read many textbooks on different subjects in the past and this one is one of the worst. Its contents are dated( written in 2006 and was never revised). It has poor graphics and writing is subpar. The end of chapter questions are ridiculously convoluted.Update: I was compelled to come back and downgrade my previous rating from 2 stars down to a 1 star. For the price of the book(incredibly overpriced for the value it provides), I can not, with all honesty, give it more than a star.

but it is a bit dated. A lot of information in this book and doesn't drag you down into the weeds.

Book in excellent condition.

this book looks like it has never been used...its in perfect condition and it got here in a timely manner...

It said there was slight cover damage from wear and tear. There was more than that when I received it, the pages wer trying to fall out in chapter 7 and today one of the pages did fallout and the book just ripped in half down the binding the glue was trying to come undone when I first received it as well.Two days after i posted this the book ripped in half.
