Kurt Adler Christmas Tree 24-Piece Advent Calendar, 16-Inch

Quality is great and it will last us throughout the years! Our daughters love opening a box every day. The ornaments have some repeats but we don’t mind. We also placed small pieces of chocolate into the boxes for an added treat. Definitely a fun tradition for our family!

I bought this looking for a nice solid reusable advent calendar. when I opened it up, the doors did not stay shut. they kept flopping open. There were some doors that felt like they were going to break to get them open. highly disapointing. I really hope the "artist" knows what poor quality work his manufacturing company does! Complete garbage!

I bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter and she loved it. It's beautifully made and stands up nicely on a shelf.

The piece IS very pretty and looks as good as it does in the picture. However, as other customers commented, the construction leaves a bit to be desired. When the calendar arrived one of the knobs on the little doors fell off (I had to super glue it back on), a piece of the outer tree was chipped (had to super glue that as well), one of the little doors was hanging off its hinge (more super glue) and one of the knobs for hanging the ornaments on was placed directly above the ear on the little rocking horse, so there is NO way to hang an ornament from that knob. Did the person constructing the piece just completely ignore this error in design as well as the other issues? Other customers mentioned that they received two or more of various ornaments. We are on day 5, and we've already had two of the same ornaments; not sure if any others will be identical as I didn't open all of them. I don't really recommend this even though I gave it 3 stars and did not return it. I just don't think it's worth the price. It would be nice if the Kurt Adler business would read these comments and try to create a better product.

I purchased this for my wife because she was nostalgic for her family's use of advent trees in her childhood. I picked this one because it was cute without being over-the-top kitschy and the price was right. 4/5 stars because the construction tolerances reflect the low price - some handles needed to be reglued and some of the boxes don't fit quite right.

I was very pleased with the craftsmanship and the detail of this item. I purchased it for my daughter-in-law, and she will be able to use it for years to come. Five stars across-the-board.

Beautiful piece.

I was really looking forward to this calendar because it looked so cute. But it's not worth the money. When I first opened it about 6 knobs fell off when I just touched them. Several doors aren't very secure and can fall off if opened wrong as they are missing a bar on one side. To top it off one of the days was missing an ornament. When I contacted Kurt Adler for a replacement they said they didn't have any. Amazon gave me a small refund as my girls are still enjoying it and I didn't want to stop them in the middle of the month. I don't think it's worth the money though
