Positively Tea, Organic Genmaicha, Green Tea, Loose Leaf, 16 Ounce

This is GREAT tea! I love GenMai Cha (which is fine green tea with puffed toasted rice to add a nutty, smoky flavor to the green tea) and this brand and tea is perfection. The taste is wonderful and the price was fantastic. I'll be buying a lot more of this in the future. If you like tea, and you like Gen Mai Cha, in particular, this is your brand!

Absolutely delicious and very cheap for what it is. I use 2 tablespoons for 32 oz of water in a french press. I bring water to the boil, cool it for a bit and then steep for 1 min. First two "flushes" are great, 3rd and 4th a little less flavorful. Fantastic tea!

We drink a lot of green tea with rice in this household. This is the first time I have tried this brand and going forward I will not purchase any other kind. Smooth taste at a reasonable price. I can recommend it highly.

This is a very poor quality tea with little flavor. Tried the product as recommended by seller's instructions and it had little flavor and a strange after taste. Tried doubling the product to see if the flavor would improve and it did not. Do not recommend, it is a waste of money. Unfortunately I missed the return window by 1 day :-(

This is a large bag of organic Genmaicha for a good price. However, Genmaicha is my favorite Green Tea and I've definitely had better flavored Genmaicha. This tea is pretty bland, and I know how to make a good pot of Genmaicha. The leaves themselves are relatively pale in color compared to other brands. And the roasted rice does not give off the same rich flavor of other brands. Sure, you can brew it longer for a stronger cup. But this doesn't really make the tea better tasting. It just makes it taste more bitter as green tea gets when over brewed. So, if you want a middle quality tasting Genmaicha for a good value, this is your bag.

This tea is from China. For the price/quantity and the fact that it's organic I had to give it a try. I can't always justify buying more expensive Genmaicha. It's more of an occasional special treat. While the flavor of this tea is actually very good, the leaves do not get soft enough to enjoy chewing up and swallowing along with the rice kernels (I like to brew genmaicha in my cup and don't strain it). It's like there are a lot of stems in there. I will finish up this bag using my little Japanese teapot which strains the leaves out then go back to my favorite brand next time.

I grew up on the brown rice tea served at my Grandma's house (and our house, too). This tea has a very nice roasted flavor that is very satisfying. It also has plenty of staying power and a small bubble infuser with about a heaping teaspoon of tea can more than flavor two cups of tea.
