BS250P or ZVP3306A are often cited as complementary equivalents. I have no personal experience with those.

Do these ship with protective shorting wires in place like they should?

They come in an electrostatic protective zip lock bag. They are just loose inside the bag. I haven’t had a problem with any not working as clipping diodes or switches.

Are these parts marked with part numbers? Are they prime quality parts or re-brands? The last parts I got from your company were totally unmarked and

They are marked 2N7000. I don’t recall branding. They have worked fine as clippers and switches in several DIY effect pedal circuits. Chanzon makes reliable components in my experience. Sorry to hear your experience wasn’t the same.

You don't need any additives for these to operate as touch switches, simply touch the center lead and the human body has enough static to switch them!
