Is taste of this bread really as bad as some reviewers have stated? I Had almost 40 yrs ago & it was delicious then - very moist, not least bit dry.

I also had it as a kid. Seems as though it is drier and not as tasty as it used to be. But even then it was an aquired taste.

How many cans is this? Says 12x16oz, which would lead buyers to think 12-16oz cans. price seems low for 12 and very high for 1? Clarification Plz?

I think I paid about $8.00 for one can. I really don't know how much they are charging for 12 cans. There is a Raisin variety and original, so I believe they would charge more for it if it has Raisins in it. There are several vendors for this on Amazon and I'm sure there will be different prices. If you really like it, you might want to Google it to see what the prices are outside of Amazon. If I saw the ad the way you wrote it (12x16oz) I would certainly think they mean 12 16oz cans for$________. If you don't know what it is like, it is loaded with Molasses and you slice it and put cream cheese on it. Enjoy.

HOw many cans for the current price of $11.30? The link says $3.30 per can, but this page states differently?

During October 2018, I bought one 16oz can for $7.74. Looks like pricing is different now. Sorry I could not help more
