Wear the weight you lost
Okay this should come with FBI or SWAT on the back. I wear an oversized hoodie and I walk early AM. I bought this because I lost 35 lbs since January and so thought it would be good to remind myself about carrying that weight. You can adjust weight but I’m a meat head so I started with the 50. I’m mixing 90 min walks at least 2x’s a week with my regular workouts. I do a few hills and this really helps making that walk a great workout. Very comfortable and plenty of adjustment. Would recommend to kick your walk or hike up a notch. 🙌🏻😎 adding research: 🦵 The Biomechanics of Weighted Walking & Knee HealthContrary to what you might expect, adding moderate weight via a vest can actually reduce stress on the knees—when done right. Here's how the mechanics work in your favor:1. Improved Postural AlignmentWearing a properly fitted vest encourages a more upright posture. This redistributes load through the spine and hips, reducing compensatory stress on the knees. It also activates your core and glutes, which are key stabilizers for knee tracking.2. Enhanced Muscle EngagementThe added resistance increases activation in the quads, hamstrings, and calves, which support the knee joint. Stronger muscles absorb more impact, reducing the load that would otherwise be transferred to cartilage and ligaments.3. Reduced Ground Reaction ForcesSurprisingly, walking with a vest can lower impact per step because it encourages shorter strides and better gait mechanics. This reduces the jarring forces that often aggravate knee pain.4. Bone Density & Joint StabilityWeighted walking stimulates bone remodeling and improves proprioception—your body’s sense of joint position. That means better balance and fewer awkward movements that could strain the knees.5. Metabolic Boost Without SpeedIf you’re limited in how fast you can walk (say, due to knee sensitivity), a vest lets you increase intensity without increasing speed, which is often the culprit behind joint flare-ups.

Great weight distribution!
When you pick this thing up and feel the full weight you think, "there's no way Im going to be able to put this on". Then you carefully slide in to it and realize that the perfect weight distribution makes this pretty darn bearable. In fact, your legs are more likely to get tired than your back is!I needed this to train for a fitness test coming up. I love the ease of adjusting the weight to what I want, and the 5 pockets on both sides give you options for where you put the weights. Its comfortable and the lower chest band gives great support. I didnt get the ones with the shoulder pads, and while I do think they would make it more comfortable, you can easily add your own make shift padding that will do the same thing. This is a great exercise tool to really help you build muscle and strength. Its very good quality and seems like it will be durable over time.

Easy on the shoulders
This is the fourth vest I’ve tried, and it’s a keeper. I returned the other three. I ordered the 40-pound vest with shoulder pads, but I find it more comfortable without them. The other vests were too tight and restrictive in the armpit area, and they caused pain in my trapezius muscles. I don’t use the vest for running or weight training, so my experience is based solely on walking. I also discovered that I can carry the unused weight bags in my hands while wearing the vest, which is an extra benefit.

Reviewing after about a year of use
To preface, I’ve been using this vest primarily for adding weight to pushups, pull ups, dips, and squats. I can’t really speak well to how good it would be for walking or running but it is definitely snugger/less bouncier than other vests I’ve tried. I bought the 60lb version.Pros:-Weight distribution is about as close to perfect as I’ve experienced, and adjusting the weight by removing or adding back the weight packs on the fly is fairly simple.-It is also very comfortable through full range of motion on even things like squats and pullups which pleasantly surprised me.-It is still in close to new condition after a year of use so I’m gonna say the construction/sewing is robust enough for me at least.Cons:-I wish I didn’t spend extra for the shoulder pads. I don’t used them at all at this point, and when I was trying them, they didn’t alter the comfort (which is overall pretty decent) for the types of training I use the vest for (I bet they would for long walks though),-Putting the vest on and taking it off is a bit more of a process than other vests I’ve tried, especially at higher weights since you don it over the head rather than over the shoulders.-When breathing hard it’s a bit restrictive on how deep I can breath at the tightness required to prevent bouncing during explosive movements.Overall: Zero regrets on the purchase on my end. I use it all the time, and I don’t foresee needing to buy a new vest for many years.

Excellent Vest
This weighted vest exceeded my expectations. It’s super easy to adjust both the weight and the fit, which makes it perfect for a variety of workouts. Whether I'm running, doing pushups, or just walking, it stays in place and doesn’t feel bulky or awkward. The material feels durable and breathable, and the straps make it simple to get a snug fit without digging in. It’s made my workouts more challenging in the best way. If you’re looking to step up your training, this vest is a great investment and well priced.

Fantastic
This is the real deal. It's a bit big and bulky and as such, perhaps better suited for males or larger framed people. 3 or 4 people I frequently see walking have since purchased the same vest and provide similar feedback/remarks

Worth
I love it and use it often. The shoulder pads are a must buy however, without them the pressure on the traps is unbearable
