Nutritious and tasty
Very nutritious mix of grains and taste is very good.

Purple Rice Mix
This is a mix of 8 different grains or rices. It is very hearty and nutritious. MUCH better for you to eat than white rice. It is usually referred to as purple rice because some of the grains turn the water a purplish color.

tasty but empty
Perfectly good, tasty, whole grains. My only problem with this product is that it has zero nutritional value. It is an empty food. Sticking to a vegan diet I look to whole grains for a fair amount of protein. This product has absolutely none. I don't know if this is an error in their labeling or not. It seems like it should be, compared to similar grain blends I have bought. I wrote to ROM to ask about this, but received no response. So, I don't know. It is good filler food for stuffing one's belly, but not really worth the calories when using food for nutrition.

Very Good Rice Mixture
This rice mix is very good. I add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup to my white rice. Many compliments when I make this.

Bugs!
Once I received this product I transferred to an airtight container, like I always do with my dry food. Good thing because there must’ve been larvae within the packed rice since a month later when I was about to prep rice for cooking, I found adult bugs crawling in the container. I immediately searched my other food containers to see if they were present in others, and found them to be all clean. The only explanation then is that they arrived within this package of multigrain rice. So disappointed since I did enjoy the rice before I knew there were bugs in it, and grossed out that I’ve eaten bugs and larvae without knowing. This bag was too expensive also. I will never buy it again.

Delicious
Makes you full faster since it has glutinous rice. Need to leave in rice cooker longer than jasmine or Japanese mix rice. Easy to cook in rice cooker. Soak for an hour in rice cooker prior to cooking. Then start rice cooker. After cooking, need to leave for half a day for extra moisture to be gone. I use two cups of the mixture to 3 cups water.
