ENERLITES 1-Gang White Screwless Decorator Switch Outlet Wall Plate Cover

I picked this up to replace a cracked wall plate on a GFCI outlet in my kitchen. Installation was very simple, and the screwless design gives it a clean, smooth look. I am a bit confused by the "child safe" marketing. The idea seems to be that removing the screws keeps kids from pulling the plate off the wall. But if a child has the dexterity and/or tools to unscrew screws, they can probably just pry the plate off. The real child safety concern with outlets has always been what gets stuck into them, not what holds the cover on. Odd marketing aside, it's a nice-looking wall plate that does its job.

These are beautiful quality and easy to install. "Screwless" is a bit misleading, though. There's a plate that you screw into the switches which makes it pretty easy to make sure they are lined up correctly. That plate has openings for access to the screws in your switches to the junction box. The plate has four, small philips head screws already in the plate. Just line it up and get your switches aligned correctly, then a few turns and they're in. Then pop the pretty cover on and you're golden! (I bought the brushed gold 😁) I am not an electrician or even much of a DIY-er, but I was determined and I am so happy with how this turned out. And just to reiterate, worked grand with the TP-Link Kasa KS205 Matter-certified Smart Switches.

Slowly changing all my plates to “screwless”. Looks a lot cleaner. It has a glossy finish, easy to install with pre inserted screws, and great price. It’s flexible so if your wall isn’t completely even, it covers the gaps better than the traditional plates. I got a Lutron Clara before seeing this brand and I like the cleaner look of it better but it’s not a big deal. They’re both actually very similar (two piece edge) with these being less expensive. The mounting plate on the Enerlites has visible flathead notches (too and bottom) to remove the face versus the Lutron which is completely smooth all around. BUT, The Lutron costs anywhere from $2-5 more each plate. I’ll probably be replacing the rest of my house with this Enerlites due to the lower cost. Update: I purchased other sizes of the Enerlights, single gang and 2, 3 gang plates and they are different looking than this 4 gang plate. They don’t have the two piece edge look but instead have a one piece edge. I think the two piece edge looks better in my opinion and gives it a unique look so I im disappointed that the other Enerlights sized plates don’t look the same as the 4 gang version. Looks all mismatched.

Wanted to replace the old ones that I already had. Light gold in color and simple design. It snaps right in so it is very easy to install and fits universally. Decent material and should last a long time.

These screwless wall plates are the best! They are a very good price, easy to install, and fits around my decorator switches perfectly. Removal is easy if needing to change anything.

Love it, looks much better then the store bought ones.

If like me you hate the white plastic wall plates, these are a great alternate. Very easy to install (and remove for redecorating). Change the appearance considerable and upgrade the final finish of the decor. I love them and highly recommend them.

Love the clean and elegant look of these switch plates. All of our light switche covers are being changed out with the coordinating light switch.

The plate is significantly lighter grey than expected however, it does function as intended and is very appealing to look at.

I'd upgraded my switches to various TpLink/Kasa products. The products don't come with 2/3 gang switches and they don't make them. These switchplates look near identical and are very easy to install. I really like that the switch mounting screws are exposed so it's easy to adjust the switch position in the box. Very durable too. I had to pop the plate off a few times to make adjustments nothing cracked or broke.
