Inspiring, genuine story. Finished the book in less than 2 days. Don't expect much fintech insights though. It's an amazing entrepreneurial story with some interesting insights into the VC and start-up world (and dramatic events where you hold your breath in a hope the author makes it and no idea how!)

Great book to understand then power of customer journey.

This is a truly inspirational roller coaster journey of resiliency, optimism, courage, perseverance and hard work lead by a former successful woman banker (with a computer science background) which in her mid-fifties and with zero entrepreneurial experience decided to disrupt one of the industries with most testosterone: Banking A few weeks ago, Starling Bank announced to be the first of the neobanks to breakeven in Europe. More recently, It was published that two big incumbent banks were considering its acquisition. I hope we continue seeing Starling growing profitable and eventually files to go public. In my view, this will definitely ping 'the-no-return-turning-point-example' on what main street banking will look like in the future.

This was an incredible personal account of innovation, dreaming, ambition, execution and the grind, betrayal (game of thrones style...kkkk), providence (we all want a rich man from Bahamas to say 'hello there') and then in her own words, not resting once success is achieved and being lazy basking in glory, but keep on keeping on. This was a great read and very relevant for digital entrepreneurs...final word - it is never too late, she started this adventure at 54?
