This is hand's down the best coffee maker I've ever owned. I've used all kinds of electric makers and gadgets over the years, and Gevi has simplified my coffee routine.The only complaint I have is the coffee bean hopper should be a tad bigger. It seems it was made was 9/10oz bags of coffee beans, while the standard size is 12oz. There's always a little left over from filling.With that out of the way. I usually drink 2-3 cups of coffee each morning. With the 10 cup reservoir, I can fill up the water twice a week. The machine is always set to my desired grind size, amount and brew strength, so I can stumble into the kitchen at 0'dark'30 and hit a single button to get the coffee going. When enough caffeine juice is in the pot, hit the button again to stop the brew.The coffee grounds basket is large, preventing any spillage, and extremely easy to clean. The mesh is smooth and durable, rather than snaggy and easily bent like other baskets. Cleaning daily involves emptying the basket and rinsing was warm water. About once a week I wash with dish soap.

So far so good. The grinder works great and coffee tastes better than coffee from my old drip coffee maker. I like that you can either use ground coffee or grind it fresh if you choose. The mechanism where you set the grind along with the strength and number of cups allows you to cater the brew to your liking. I also like that the machine does all the work by grinding the coffee and depositing it into the filter all at once. It's pretty easy to use. It's not cheap, but if you like quality coffee and a quality machine, you will probably think the machine is worth the cost.

I purchased this coffee maker for my vacation cabin. I used it maybe a total of 3 months when it quit brewing. I figured maybe it had calcium build-up even though the water system in my cabin is pretty soft and there were no obvious signs of any build-up. I tried running the coffee maker with a diluted vinegar solution in an attempt to purge any deposits. This did not work as there’s was no movement at all of the solution through the coffee maker. It just wouldn’t brew.Since the time for me to return the product through Amazon had expired I contacted customer support for Gevi. I was told to run the coffee maker and make a video of what was happening. I did so and dutifully sent in the video of it non-functioning. I waited and waited for a response and received nothing so after about a month I emailed them again to ask what I could do as I could not find any place that would repair my machine locally only to finally receive a reply that said the entire staff was on vacation and wouldn’t be back for another 3 weeks. I just emailed them again as the date for their return has passed and have yet to receive a response.Do not buy this coffee maker unless you enjoy throwing your money away and wasting time with non- existent customer service.Update:The staff got back from their extended vacation and offered to send me a replacement machine, which they did promptly. However, this new machine had a broken warning plate and would not hold the carafe properly against the drip basket. I have to manually hold the carafe against the drip mechanism to drain the coffee into the carafe. Again, I would highly advise against purchasing both this coffee make and from the seller.

I should have read into this a little more before purchasing. First off I've had it for about 2 months now and it works great. I enjoy the fresh grounded coffee smells and taste delicious. The part that really gets me is all the adjustments on here for how many cups to make are all phantom adjustments. It all depends on the amount of water you pour and amount of beans in the tray.The machine will always ground enough for a full pot. The digital adjustment doesn't matter for the water either. If you set 4 cups and pour 8cups of water you're getting 8cups of coffee. I have learned to make those adjustments manually but for me, it was a big disappointment. For the price its a good purchase.If you are always going to make a full pot then this is a great coffee maker.

I read all the reviews, and decided to buy in Nov 2021. We returned a Bonavita 8 cup within a month for its terrible features. I'm sure it produced a "superior" cup of coffee, but it lacked basic features that we found were needed.This has been the best coffee maker we have ever had. The grind settings, strength controls, and overall ease of use are great.It does a great job grinding and brewing. All that you need! No spilling in the grind process, which i worried about. Also really even grind sizes.the only downside, although minor is that it is loud when grinding. I would guess that this is the case with every grinder out there, if you chose to grind coffee.I wouldn't hesitate to buy if you are looking at this model.

Seemed to be pretty good. Lasted longer than our last attempt at a grind and brew maker. But literally one month after the support window closed- it is stuck in clean mode and won’t brew. :(. Now to attempt to get customer support
