I saw this watch when it first came out and thought i had to get one but just never did. Recently it came up in a search and I finally ordered one. I love the retro 70s look just like the old Timex watches from when I was young. The domed acrylic crystal is clear and has that vintage distortion when you look at it from an angle. The case is thin and light with a nice finish. I like the painted Pepsi bezel that is a throw back to the 70s. The band is really what gives it that classic 70s vibe. Yes the bracelet is a hair puller like many have said but if you adjust the bracelet so it doesn't slip around you will be fine. It might still give you an occasional nip to let you know it's there but it really isn't a big deal. I remember having an old watch back in the day with a similar bracelet and it was a hair puller also. This bracelet is true to the originals and in my opinion is exactly what belongs on this watch complete with it's little nips occasionally. Overall I like this watch. It's fun to wear and looks great. I have several higher end automatics and big name affordable watches but the Timex Q 1979 can proudly sit in my watch box alongside of them.

I like it is stylish and classy looking.
