Why does it say batteries are the power source?

Dear Valued customer, Our products do not need any batteries. Our paragraph and image showed no batteries were needed. So, you don't worry about using our products without any batteries. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Thanks.

Is there any quality difference between this and the gold version?

You would have to ask the manufacturer. I doubt anyone bought both the gold and steel version. However; I will say that the mechanics are the same and it does work. Takes more effort than an electric, but put this in your survival bag for when we get overrun with zombies that we have no access to electricity. You might have to fight for your life, but you will not have annoying ear and nose hair!

Does this trimmer work for ears, also?

I have used it for my nose and it works. It should also work on ears but i still use my electric trimmer for that as it is quicker.

Does the package for this trimmer come sealed?

Hello. I understand your concern about the package. The nose hair trimmer is carefully placed in a plastic case and coved by a paper sleeve but not completely sealed so, if you have a plan to give our nose hair trimmer to someone as a gift, you can check by yourself anything is right before you give it to her/him. If you have anything unclear, please feel free to contact us again. Have a nice day.
