The hard case and price were the deciding factors for me. I bought Ridgid and Ryobi but did not see any difference in build of performance and returned both. Metabo is great and recommend with no hesitation.

Great battery life and power. Included charger brings battery to full charge quickly. Light is barely bright enough to be useful, but better than nothing.

I'm a journeyman commercial carpenter and have owned and used Hitachi/Metabo tools for years and have almost always been happy (and impressed) with the quality and durability. This kit is a great value for what's included. I've been using this kit at work for a little over a week and am definitely impressed with these tools. The impact driver is the workhorse of this kit for me it has the torque and power to drive 3/8" x 8" timber lag screws without any problems.I really like the different modes that this driver has in the lowest setting It is almost delicate in how lightly it drives screws and at the max setting it's capable of driving pretty large fasteners.Another feature that is super nice in certain situations is that the light can be toggled to auto turn on and stay on for 2 minutes kinda like a flashlight or set to come on when the trigger is engaged (auto shutoff around 10 seconds) or turned off completely.The hammer drill in the kit drills fast and has plenty of torque to drill large holes in heavy steel and mix mortar or thinset with ease and the hammer setting is good for drilling concrete or stone and is very capable. The drill chuck is all metal and locks on to whatever is in it solidly.Both the impact driver and hammer drill came with belt clips that can be mounted on either side (right or left).The case this kit came with is a good quality durable hard plastic case with plenty of room for both tools (drill and driver), the included (2) 3ah batteries, the charger and room to spare for accessories.

I'm a electrician for over 18 years, so I use power tools daily. I have owned many brands. I decided to try the triple hammer impact after hearing good things. To be honest it's pretty good, but after only a few months of light use (kept this one at home for small home projects, not for ever day work) the trigger stopped working 95% of the time. So I sent it in for repair, I paid the shipping. Then they sent a repair estimate of about 90 dollars to fix the trigger. So I called them, surely this was a mistake, less then a year old in very good condition? The nice person I talked to said they only cover manufacturer defects and that means it would have to be brand new and not working for them to cover it? At that point why would anyone send it in and not just return it? So I asked was it from wear and tear that the trigger stopped working? The representative said no. ??? I was baffled. I guess there is a reason why this company is not doing so great in the power tool industry. Stick to brands that have a real warranty, like the red brand, free shipping and about one week turn around.

This is an amazing set!Combo cordless drill set - and these are no joke. My husband acted like a kid at Christmas when he saw this.Came fully charged and he hasn’t had to recharge them yet! Use for big or small jobs.Attachments: screw gun - impact wrench.These are fairly heavy and not something I would be comfortable using by myself honestly but he thinks they are a great heavy duty sturdy quality set.Nice carrying case also.Gorgeous and work great.Quality for sure. This is an excellent tool set. Both the hammer drill and the impact driver work great and are extremely good quality. The heft and build of this is so much better than a Skil driver that I am replacing. They have plenty of power, and are excellent tools.
