I usually always have cheesecloth in my kitchen to use for food preparations but ran out so ordered this one because it's 100% natural cotton. I was a bit surprise to find how small the package was for the price compared to other cheese cloth purchases of the past. I used it to prepare Indian Cheese and it worked extremely well with a double layer for straining the curds and squeezing out the liquids. It appears to be strong, holding it's shape. None of my curds tried to leak through as I squeezed out the liquid. However, after cutting a double piece for my strainer I had about half of the pack left. It cost me $2.00 to cut a piece of cheesecloth for which to strain my cheese! I have no complaints other than the fact that it seems a bit expensive for the amount that you get, but if you are looking for good cheesecloth and don't mind the price you will probably be happy with this one. Order more than one pack though because you're going to run out quickly! Next time I'm thinking of just trying a very clean flour sac towel and save the money. I'd forgotten that my Indian friend used to use one to make her cheese. It's washable. Just make sure it's rinsed well!

I actually use my cheese cloth to squeeze the rest of my cold brewed coffee grinds. Yes it does work but because the holes in the cloth are still big, I still have grinds coming through unfortunately. It is also quite difficult to clean and get the grinds out. However, I know the majority of the people buying this are using it for cheese so they might not have the same problem. Another issue I have with the cloth is the ends came frayed already. Overtime, I already know it's going to get even more frayed and will fall apart quickly. Overall, it does its job but I just don't think the quality of the cloth is that great.
