Great product, small package
Delicious, smooth and slightly sweet red bean paste. I used this to make 20 Daifuku mochi and it worked beautifully. I was a little surprised but how small the package was - only 500 grams. That’s about the size of a 5x7 photo…possibly a bit smaller. Expensive for the size but a very good product.

Sooo gooooood
I emailed the factory. They said their facility is safe from peanuts (peanut-free process) Awesome! So authentic and they use red bean from Hokkaido. People! You should try it.

Delicious!
I just had a hankering for dorayaki. The beans are so smooth just like I like it and they taste just like the bean paste you find in market mochi.

Very nice quality
This is the only bean paste I’ve ever tried off of Amazon and I was really nervous to try buying some thing like this but overall, I really liked the taste, and it came to me in very good condition. I do think the price is usually about two bucks more compared to a market but if you do not have a local market in your area, this is not a bad price. Would recommend to use this for any sort of Japanese desserts are making that involve it or even for dip for things like strawberries.

Great for hopia!
The Koshian red bean paste is just what I wanted to make Filipino hopia with. It’s thick, tastes great, and as expected with Asian desserts, lightly sweetened. It’s about 18 ounces and the two packages I received expire April 2024. I will only use one and vacuum seal the second one and freeze it. I have previously made red bean paste at home and I really didn’t like that I couldn’t get it to be super smooth even with my Breville food processor. This package is worth ($16.80 per bag at time of purchase) having it pre-made and save me time.

Arigato, yummygato, beanygato, all in one!
These taste just like great grandma used to make back in Hokkaido! Her's were slightly better, because she made them with love, but these are REALLY good!

Makes an amazing cookie
I was having a holiday cookie contest at work and decided to make it a challenge, so I made gluten-free cookies with red bean paste. My kids loved the first test batch, and everyone who tasted them at work (the people who weren't afraid of them anyway) all said they were great and several asked for the recipe.

御汁粉を…
美味しくて何度か購入しおもちを入れて少しずつ娘や孫と食べあっという間に無くなってしまいましたが何でも食べ過ぎは良くないので今は我慢してしばらくしたら購入を考えています(笑)
