Though the cushion is very soft but I find them thin … may be because the back of my chair is very reclined … or it is actually thin but when I recline I find the comfort

It does take away the pain from the lower back. The only issue comes up when the back of the chair is curved....thats when this might not be effective. that is because the back of this cushion is straight which does not adhere to a curved chair. Another thing is that the thigh support is reduced i.e. the bottom of this cushion takes up space which makes you sit a little more forward on the chair because of which the amount of chair under the thighs is reduced. So it works best on chairs that have extra thigh support to compensate for the space taken by the bottom of this cushion. I had a similar experience when I used it in my car. I was made to sit forward because of which I had to move my seat behind to sit comfortably cause the steering had come to close. Just reducing one star for all of this, product is fully worth.
